Ready to give her away to him.
Her 6-foot train flowing behind her.
They reached the end where he waited,
Wearing that black suit with a silver tie and
Silver lining that brought out his twinkling eyes
Harry lifted her veil overher tiara;
Ron gave her a peck on the cheek
Each took a hand to give to him.
He acceptedboth, leading her tothe alter
Dumbledore stood waiting, for
There could be no other to perform
This rite for these two.
It began slow and steady,
No one objected and the rings where there
Even the snarky, Potions professor had tears
At the vows which where exchanged,
Everyone did, for they told of their love story
One that is to be remembered throughout the ages
As the love between the two enemies.
Or two opposites, for they weren't enemies,
Not ever, really.
And with a declaration,
Dumbledore said the spell that would
Eternally bind them, through time and space
As husband and wife
Soul mates that were meant to be one.
The rings were exchanged
Tears of joy fell
A bright flash as they kissed
As now they could enjoy the
Pureness of wedded bliss in their first kiss.
Such love and such devotion
That could span through space and time
More classical than any ordinary
Romeo and Juliet,
Only to live through time
Was that love of
