Author's Note: So I've been thinking about Amy's exit for awhile and it left me wanting more. This is what I came up with. WARNING FEELS AHEAD!
"Doctor!" Amy yells, staring down the angel.
"Where the hell did that come from?" River exclaimed as her and The Doctor run from the TARDIS. The Doctor starts taking readings with his sonic screwdriver.
"Where is Rory?" Amy asks, desperate for answers as to where her husband is. As The Doctor tells Amelia, she refuses to believe it until she hears River behind her.
"Mother its true." A plan begins to form in her mind.
"Would the angel take me to the same time, to him?" The Doctor starts arguing, stalling, but all Amy needs is for River to say "Yes, yes it is." And Amy's plan solidifies.
"Doctor, watch this angel so I can say goodbye to my daughter." Amy turns when she sees from the corner of her eye The Doctor looking at it, disgust evident in his face. She then walks over to River, her precious Melody, tears streaming down both faces. The pair hug each other fiercely wanting to remember this moment, for it to be seared in their minds so they could never forget it even if they tried. Amy starts talking, still hugging her daughter.
"You be a good girl, ok. Watch him and be a good girl and never forget how much we love you. Rory and I, we love you so much Melody." Mother and daughter pull apart, tears falling faster, rolling down cheeks before plummeting to the ground below.
"I know Mother. I love you both with all my heart. And do something for me too; be happy, don't get hung up on the past. The Doctor and I will be just fine." River speaks; choking on her words as she says them, doing her best to not breakdown completely but her resolve is quickly fading.
"You are the best parents I could have asked for and the most amazing best friends I could have ever dreamed of having." River says wanting Amy to believe everything coming out of her mouth at this moment.
"And you are the best daughter I could have imagined in all my wildest dreams. You are and always will be my best friend even if you are also my daughter." Amy adds, giggling a bit at the end. The pair goes in for another long hug, tears staining their clothes and cheeks.
"Tell Dad I love him."
"I will. Don't forget us, I know a life with The Doctor is pretty exciting but please don't forget you folks."
"Never. I could never forget you." River tightens her grip before letting go.
"Good bye Melody." Amy reluctantly heads back to The Doctor and the angel.
"Thank you Raggedy Man, for coming back. Don't let Melody keep all her emotions locked up, you're her husband so talk to her and let her talk to you." Amy tells The Doctor, also looking at the angel.
"Please don't go."
"I have to. I'm sorry but I choose Rory. I will always choose Rory."
"I understand, doesn't mean I don't have to like it." The Doctor grumbles.
"Don't worry, we will be ok, and I will always cherish the fun we had but now it's time for me to go. Doctor look at me so when I look away it will take me." He does as instructed tears now falling down his face as well.
"Amelia Pond, the girl who waited, Good bye Pond." The Doctor says one last time for old time sake.
"Raggedy Man, good bye" and with that Amy turns to look at her raggedy doctor one last time.
