It Wasn't Meant To Happen by Brita*Chica

A/N: The final thoughts of Lo-Lan. Includes flashbacks. Please Review.

Disclaimer: I do not own Farscape.

It wasn't meant to happen. Though now that it did I have no regrets.

Okay, so maybe I have a few regrets.

If I had no regrets then, well, that wouldn't be possible.

When you are about to die you have to have some regrets.

"I suppose that you think you are clever don't you." The Luxan prisoner snarled at me.

"No need to get angry. You will be released soon enough." One of my comrades told him.

I had never seen a Luxan before. Not in real life anyway. I had seen them on the vid screens and heard about them in lectures but that was it. I had only recently been promoted so I had done little field work. You could see from the tattoos on him that he was a warrior. My brother had told me that all Luxans were warriors. That they didn't know how to do anything but fight. I thought this about the Peacekeepers sometimes. I had learned to keep my mouth shut though. I knew that if I said how I felt that I would be considered as treason.

Lieutenant Bialar Crais walked over.

"I trust that the prisoner is secure."

"Yes sir."

"Good. Then he is to be released away from this base and if you return" he said, directing his attention from me to the Luxan, "you will be executed. Do I make myself clear!"

"Frell you." The Luxan told him. The lieutenant walked off and I was the only person left to free him and remove him from the base.

It had all started then. When everything that would lead up to this moment now had started. That would lead to my death.

"He's beautiful."

"That's not what your brother thinks." Ka D' Argo said to me. I had to agree with him. Macton was being stupid. I didn't realise why he had anything against Jothee and my husband. We were very much in love.

That wasn't what he was thinking.

It definatly wasn't what he was thinking. I knew that now. I didn't think that he hated me enough to kill me though. It wouldn't be too bad if I didn't know that Ka D' Argo would be imprisoned and that Jothee had no certain future.

A/N: Shorter than I thought it would be and I'm sorry but I started to run out of ideas. Please Review.
