As life goes by I wonder
"Good morning passengers of flight 109 from new York to California. The time is 6 am and we will be landing in 10 minutes. Please fasten your seatbelts. It has been a pleasure to pilot you and I hope you have a wonderful time in California" said the voice coming from the intercom.
Relena buckled her seatbelt over her white tank top and blue jeans after slipping on her black jacket. She ran her fingers through her honey/dirty blond hair and prepared herself for landing.
Being a single dad, Brian never had time for his daughter as he always worked and was very busy at septco medicals making medicine. Relena's father, Brian had just died a month ago in a car crash whilst coming home from work. They were supposed to go to England to spend some time together.
Now she was moving to live with her brother Milliardo and his girlfriend Noin. They had met when Milliardo joined the FBI and hit it off. Relena was glad to move with them and so were they. 'Amazing how life can change with one event' thought Relena while sighing.
AT THE AIRPORT
Relena walked to collect her bags after passport and customs check. She grabbed to small black suitcases and a sports bag, which she slung over her shoulder and started to walk over to arrivals, her black boots clanged on the blue tiled floor.
She looked around for Milliardo and Noin and found them after 10 minutes. They were standing against a shop window with Milliardo putting his arm around Noin. They were both in white jeans while Milliardo had a white t-shirt and Noin had a baby blue shirt with DKNY written across it in night blue.
" Noin, Milliardo over here." Shouted Relena lightly. Upon hearing this they ran over to her, " how are you guys?" asked Relena while walking out of the building to their silver Peugeot 206 coupe. With that said Relena knew her life was turning to a good future and that she was going to like California. They carried their conversation on not knowing the life ahead for Relena.
" So you guys are you going to get married? Eh" asked Relena slyly, " hmm, Mill', Noin's so sweet and pretty. She's great, are you going to tie the Knot? ". " One day yeah. How could I let go of her?" replied Milliardo. At this Noin just giggled and kissed him on the cheek.
" hey is anyone hungry? Because I'm starving" said Noin casually while moving some hair to the side, " yeah, the plane food was awful" replied Relena. Milliardo pulled over to the Mcdonalds on the right of the traffic lights they were at.
Inside they found a table and sat down. "okay what do you want?" asked Milliardo whilst getting up for the line but was stopped by Relena who grabbed the$20 bill and asked the same question. After 2 minutes it came down to, " so 2 fillet meals, a cheese burger and 3 cokes, ok I'm off".
