Authors Note: This is my FIRST Story, so I encourage criticism so that I can improve once I decide to write Chapter 1. Also, I would like to let you know that this is going to be a prequel to another story called Mystical Version. Both of these stories have elements originating from a roleplay with certain friends of mine. I would like to give thanks to all of them. Now, without further ado, enjoy the story!

Allow me to tell you a story. As we go back in time to a predecessor of wonder…we gaze upon the world of Pokemon. It may not be the world of Pokemon you're familiar with, but it is still magical. A world created by god and assistance from the 4 directional Islands, of which are connected to the religious tower of Destiny. The Islands started out as loyal followers of the gods above. They are the deity of creation and the god of all Pokemon, Arceus and Mew. Arceus gave life to the land and constructed a safe world, while Mew made all Pokemon, making everyone diverse in their own special way.

As time went on, Evil began to rise. Some Pokemon were in belief that they could overthrow the gods above. They enforced their new rules on the innocent and caused havoc for everyone. That is, until 4 youthful heroes used their skills and instincts to overcome the enemy. These troublemakers were stopped, and the 4 heroes celebrated. They built a guild on each of their home Islands, ready to teach others their abilities and tricks. Peace prospered, and everyone was happy.

Until…

A group is seen walking through the caves. Their leader, a Lopunny dressed in green, lit the torch as it started getting dark. She had a very determined look on her face, and so did her team. Her group was full of Dark and Steel types. "Remember what we're here for." The Lopunny reminded the group. She suddenly stopped, taking a moment to listen. She could hear the radiating noise of what she's looking for. Her persisting face transitioned into a face of satisfaction. "Do you hear that?" She said. "…No?" The Machoke in the group said. Everyone looked at him with a disappointed expression. "You IDIOT, that's the sound of Z Energy!" The Lopunny exclaimed. "They used to store this power into crystals before they were destroyed. Now that we've found the source, our mission's almost complete. Machoke, punch these boulders away. The cover-up isn't convincing me." "You got it boss!" Exclaimed Machoke as he delivered a strong punch to the boulders. They scatter into the small room, splitting into smaller pieces at the speed they're going.

A huge cluster of crystals is shining in the room, full of strange cells. These cells are green, and appear giant compared to normal cells. They're trying to break free from the crystal, but to no avail. The Lopunny, finally finding what she wants, goes to smash the crystal and captures the cells in a small containment capsule. She looks for any remaining ones and takes a sigh of relief knowing she has them all. "At last, our plan can be put into action!" She exclaimed with joy. "Let's get moving and cover this up before anyone can find this wreckage. We don't want our image ruined." She ordered. Without hesitation, the strange group ran out and covered up the scene using nearby boulders to hide the cave, to make it seem like it wasn't even touched. Once they covered up the scene, they ran off. But…they left one behind.
