Just Around the Corner
Class was about over when Kakashi pulled his book out of his desk from the front of the large room. He looked over the top of his readings and stared at the class before saying, "The academy is holding a party social. Partners are not needed -but you'd look like a dork if you didn't have one- to attend. You don't have to attend but he sensei's would like you to come. The social will be held in the main indoor training field tonight at eight o' clock till… some very late, unnecessary hour. No supervision will be there," now he stared each and everyone of the students with an icy glare that made them all shudder and he then he spoke slowly, "But that doesn't mean you have to misbehave." Once Kakashi had made eye contact with everyone in the room he smirk then stuck his nose back into his book and the class was dismissed.
Everyone let the news sink in and then slowly, yet noisily, walked back to his or her dorms. Naruto walked silently beside Sasuke in the direction everyone is set to walk in.
Ino ran up to Sasuke and pulled on his right elbow "Sasuke! Sasuke! You are going to go with me right?
And then out of nowhere popped Sakura pulling on Sasuke's left elbow, "No! Ino, he is going with me!"
Sasuke pulled his arms back into himself. "Get off of me!" he snapped at both of the girls, "Maybe I'm not even going to go the stupid dance! Even if I did I wouldn't be taking either of you!" He glanced at Naruto then stormed off.
Naruto rolled his eyes at the stunned girls and sighed. "Now look what you did," he said almost angrily and ran off after Sasuke.
The girls looked at each other.
"Did we miss something?" Ino asked, Sakura just shrugged.
"Why aren't we friends anymore?" The pink haired girl asked.
This question surprised the blonde, " I don't know. I think we fought over Sasuke too often and just got too pissed off."
Sakura nodded.
A/N: So this is just the introduction to something much, much larger. It's funny how just a small event can roll and grow into a monstrous snowball of a plot. I've got some good ideas so stay tuned. Also, next chapter is some LIME (fluff). Thank you for reading! Please, please review! Peace out!
