Shepard and the rest of the rest of the normandy crew are at Flux Bar
enjoying a successful mission with a drink.
Shepard stands up and raises his drink for a toast.
" Here's to a successful attack on the collector base. They said: it would
be a suicide mission but we all survived. I hope we sent a message to the
Reapers that we will not be conquered that easily! Cheers."
"This makes 2-0 to us; no one can mess with
us. Not with me around at least!" Laughs Garrus
He takes a drink and the others join in.
"Hey Shepard "called Jack " We are running a bit dry here"
"I'll get more drinks." replied Shepard
Shepard goes to the bar and orders the drinks. He then hears a familiar female
voice calling out his name; he turns to the direction of the voice and sees his
mother standing next
"Mum?" he said with surprise
"John, my boy, your alive?" She said in near crying, and places her
hand on Shepard's face.
"I'm hear, mum."
Then suddenly, Shepard's mother slaps Shepard's
mother straight to the face.
"John Julius Shepard!" she shouts" Your where
alive all along and you didn't tell your own mother that you were alive! I
heard from Counselor Anderson that you may still be alive but i didn't
believe since my one and only son would have mailed his mother about being
alive instead of making his poor mother believe you were dead."
"But, maaaa! i was in a mission of great
importance, Millions of lives were at stake. I didn't have time to send a
massage!"
She slaps him again.
"Oh! And yet you have time to make new friends
and run assignments for complete strangers" She said angrily
"I was recruiting squad mates to help me with
mission and the extra assignments allowed me to gain new equipment, and more
money and experience!" He explains and she slaps him again. "Aoch!
Muuuummm! Stop doing that!
"And, what this I hear of you joining Cerberus, i am very disappointed at you! I am glad that you father isn't
here to see this he would have beaten you with in an itch of your life. God
rest his soil"
Shepard was about to speak when Miranda arrives.
"Shepard, why is it taking so long to orders
drinks?" She asks.
"Who is this ****?" She exclaims.
"What did that old woman say?" She asked and
charges her bionics but Shepards intercepts Miranda before a fight can start
"Let it go, Miranda." Shepards said and turns
to his mother. "She is my new girlfriend, Mum"
" I thought you were still dating that nice
Williams girl from the alliance, In fact i even got a message asking if I had heard
from you yet and that she wanted to see you again." Shepard's mother said.
"You and Williams…, Shepard?" Miranda
asked angrily.
Shepard was about to reply when Shepard's mother
said.
" He is my sons true love, at least that
is what he told me."
"Shepard, Is this true?" Miranda asked.
Shepard didn't know what to say, totally gob smack about this whole situation.
"I see, Shepard, I never want to see you
again." Miranda said and walked away
Shepard tried to stop her and explained but his ear
was pulled by his mother out of the bar.
" I am transferring you back to my ship where
i can watch over u, clearly you not mature enough to be on you r own!"
"But maaa! I'm in my thirties, and i have to
protect the galaxy from the reapers" Shepard try to say.
"No buts you're coming with me!"
The both walk out of the bar.
