Hey so I kinda forgot I had this account I haven't been on fanfiction for years.
Rick walked through the loft front door and walked into the bedroom Kate was asleep on her side of the bed.
He got changed and then cuddled up to his wife.
"Your ex-wife is here" She growled opening her eyes.
"Which one?" Rick joked.
Kate elbowed him. "Ow"
"Did I hurt you kitten?"
"So Meredith then"
"Yes"
"So whats the damage so far?"
"Alexis texted me to say she was in town and that she was having dinner with her so haven't seen her yet"
"Well that's a good sign"
"What about tomorrow? When she sees me with a baby bump"
"Okay I'm going to do what I should have done the last time I'm sending her to a hotel"
"Okay"
Rick kissed her cheek.
"Get some sleep Kate"

"Thanks for letting me stay here Alexis baby" Meredith said to Alexis the next morning.
"It's fine mom"
"So Alexis whats new?"
"Nothing much just school"
"Boyfriend?"
"No"
"Why not?"
"I've been too busy with college"
Martha walked into the kitchen.
"Morning Grams"
"Morning darling" Martha kissed her cheek.
"Don't I get a good morning?" Meredith said.
"What are you doing here?" Martha snapped.
"It's always good to see you too Martha"
"You didn't answer my question?"
"I came to see Alexis"
"No your here to spy on my son"
"How is kitten?" Meredith asked.
"Kitten wants you to go to a hotel" Rick walked out of his room.
"Dad?" Alexis sounded shocked.
"Richard?" Martha was also shocked.
"I came home last night from my book tour"
"Alexis Mother could I speak to Meredith alone?"
"Okay" Both women said going upstairs.
"Alone huh?" Meredith said when they were both alone.
"It's not like that anymore"
"Then why do you want me alone then?"
"Cause Meredith your going to a hotel"
"Kitten you're not been serious?"
"No more kitten okay"
"Fine Ricky"
"No nick names just Rick"
"Fine so I don't see Kate around?"
"That cause she's asleep"
"So she's still around"
"I'm married to her" Rick held his hand up to show his wedding band.
"I thought after your second divorce you were done with getting married"
"Kate's different"
"So you couldn't tell me in front of Alexis and Martha"
"No Meredith I need you to stay at a hotel"
"Why I stay here every time?"
"And I'm sure you'll love the four seasons"
Meredith started to fake cry and Rick rolled his eyes.
"I just wanted to spend time with my family"
"You can still see Alexis just not in the loft"
"Does Kate not want me here?" Meredith went on to fake cry.
This was going to be a long morning.
