Prologue
It all started a few days after he lost his memory. He was ten at that time. When it first began he thought they were just dreams, meaningless creations of his subconscious and imagination, but it didn't take long for him to realize that he was fooling himself.
His next theory was that it was his lost memories coming back to him, but that thought was quickly discarded since they were all wrong.
This flashes of some other life, visions, for the lack of the better word to describe them, greatly disturbed him.
Not that he told anyone about them. Even Seimei, his beloved Aniki, was completely unaware of them, and would continue to be so, if he has anything to say about it (and he did!).
Prior to this he would have never even imagined that there will be something that he will keep from his brother, but there it was.
Those visions confused him, they didn't make any sense and showed him things that should not be possible, could not be possible in the real world.
Or so he tried to convince himself. No matter how hard he tried however, deep down inside his heart he knew that what he saw was true. Call it a gut feeling, an instinct or divine enlightening, but truth was truth.
And that brought him to another problem. What should he do with that knowledge? What can he do? Ritsuka didn't know.
But even then, at that confusing period of time when the boy had just started to realize the type of knowledge he possessed and had no idea what to do with it, the Wheel of Fortune changed it's course, the winds of Change started to blow, and Destiny of Loveless seized to exist irreversibly.
For a moment the world paused, sighed and then started again, and in a small room, on a small bed one special little boy sighed contently before going back to sleep with a slight smile on his lips, the Destiny was his to write now.
A/N: This is my new baby. Hope you like it. I don't know where I'm going with it yet, but the evil plot bunny bit me hard and I had to write it down before it did any more damage^^
