"I'm the hero!" a young America yelled as he ran around Britain's living room holding one of his toy soldiers above his head.

"America! What loud game are you playing this time?" Britain asked poking his head out from the kitchen.

"I'm playing heroes! Because I'm a hero and I save people!" America shouted beaming and then a look of seriousness crossed his face, "Do you need saving?"

"Why would you think that America?" Britain asked.

"Because there is dragon smoke coming out of the kitchen, are you a damsel?"

"Oh bloody-" Britain's curse was cut off by the loud screeching of the fire alarm. He grabbed his fire extinguisher and raced into the kitchen.

America laughed remembering that time. He may be a new country now but that didn't mean he couldn't remember his heroic memories.

"Package for Mr. America!" a man yelled racing into the room.

"Oh boy! A present for me!" then he read the return address, "From Britain? What's the old man trying to pull this time?"

America reached in the box pulled out a book. He quickly skimmed the back and realized it was a book about a hero. 'This is strange…' America thought.

"Fine Britain, I'll play your game! I will read this book!"

Britain heard the knock at his door. It echoed through his silent house. He quickly got up and opened the door to see America standing there.

"America?" Britain asked.

"How could you?! How could you write such a horrible book?!" America cried shoving the book at Britain.

"America I can't see it if you shove it in my face!" Britain complained as he pulled it away from his face, he paled when he saw the title. "How did you get a hold of this?! I never gave it to anyone!"

"It was in the box you sent me."

"Well that box was supposed to have your personal belongings in it, now if you excuse me I'm taking this back."

"Britain what even was that book?"

"An anti-hero book, they're quite popular."

"Well not in America they're not! I'm the hero and don't you forget it!" America yelled before running off into the sunlight.

"Wow even getting a hold of my anti-hero book, he still acts as childish and loud as he always was. Guess I'll have to work harder next time." Britain smirked as he made his way to his study.

A/N: So this idea came to me when I was learning about British writers and how they came up with the idea of Anti-Hero stories and of course I thought, "Hetalia!" I apologize if I had any spelling/grammar mistakes but I think I caught them all!

I do not own Hetalia

Do not re-post this anywhere, plagiarism is wrong.

No flames please!

So I hope you enjoyed~
