Disclaimer: I don't own Sailor Moon. Never have, probably never will.
I wish I did though! ^_^ As well, as that, I don't own the book this
story is based on. It's called 'Which Witch?' and it's by Eva Ibbotson,
a terrific author. I just hope I've spelt her name right! -_^
Authors Note: This fic is written with the Japanese names. Most of mine
are. If you find any errors, spelling, punctuation, whatever, please
let me know! If you do, I'll correct them as soon as possible. Except
for the fact that I never intend to stop starting paragraphs with the
word 'And', as my stupid English teacher insists I should do.

As the sun began to set, a solitary fruit-bat hung its head in sleep.
It had been a very tiring day. His rest was well-earned; if it hadn't
been for him, none of this would have happened. Mamoru would have been
dead, and the darkness he so loved would have been destroyed.
Almost as though he sensed that someone was watching him, the tiny
creature raised its head. Seeing you, it began to speak.
This is the story of what he said. It's a tale of magic; a tale of
love. In this world, animals talk and goblins grant wishes. Perhaps the
most amazing detail, however, is that it's completely true.

That's just the prologue. Don't worry, none of the other chapters will
be nearly so short! I wasn't really sure about the last sentance, so
if it sounds *too* bad, pretend I didn't write it!
