So..I was thinking. And..No one puts up any Collins/Alison Grey stories. That made me sad. So here it is, a one-shot of a cute little conversation between the two, post-Benny and Angel. R&R, please? You know you want to. ^___^

COLLINS' POINT OF VIEW.

I knew I was really risking something when I hung up the phone. My footsteps echoed through the empty apartment as I pulled my brown and beaten jacket over my shoulders and jiggled the doorknob. It was pretty strange to be thinking about what I was doing, and then it hit me:

I'm going on a date with Alison Grey.

The warning bells went off, but I shook them away. I was meeting her at the Life in five minutes and I didn't wanna freak out. Another puff on my joint and I was out the door. I waited for the hollow slam and walked down to the entrance to our... my apartment building.

ALISON'S POINT OF VIEW.

I knew I was going to regret it. Hell, I regretted every little relationship I've ever been in. But his face swam in my mind and his voice echoed in my ears, 'Forget regret, hon. Just let it fly.' That was the first time I met him, after Benny and I got a divorce and all of his friends stood up for me, saying he was a little asshole who was only in it for the money. Thomas Collins wasn't exactly what Daddy wanted from me, he wasn't prepared to carry on the company, but I tried to shake off the guilty feeling of my dad's disappointed frown as the bells over the entrance of the Life Cafe rang.

MYSTERIOUS INVISIBLE FORCE THAT WOULD BE ME. :)

Collins was rubbing his arm nervously, Alison's eyes were shifty. It was awkward, they would say, but what Alison said next ruined everything.

"Did Benjamin ever talk about me? While we were dating, I mean." Alison asked, her pale skin blushing. Collins laughed and placed a hand over hers.

"Nahh, girl." he said, shaking his head. "I mean, we were all mad at him. None of us really wanted to talk to him, and we were all happy when he went to go live with you." Alison sighed sadly, and Collins regretted telling her that.

"I just wanted to know why you guys seem to hate me. And I thought it was because I took Benny away." Tears were now rolling down her cheeks, and Collins reached up a soft, dark hand to brush them away.

"We hated you because we always associated you with Benny." he explained, not sure if this was the truth. "I bet if the others could meet you, they'd love you. I mean, mainly it's because I haven't been on a date since October 1990, and a date with a girl? Forget about it!" Alison was laughing with him now.

"So you've never dated a girl?" she asked, and Collins shook his head.

"Nahh. Too much stress. And the only girl I've ever kissed was Maureen, that's because she tricked me into it." He was still laughing, and he pulled the joint out from behind his ear. "You don't mind smoking, d'you?" Alison shook her head, and he looked relieved.

"So... the only girl you've ever kissed... tricked you into doing it?" Alison repeated slowly, and Collins nodded. "Well... how about I kiss you... and not trick you into doing it?" Collins smiled sheepishly.

"Awwh, girl, you're too nice..." he started, but his speech was stopped by Alison's lips on his.
