Sofia chuckled to herself as she drove to the scene.
Some kid had stolen a bait car and was now pulling into a lot off of Ogden to strip it.
When Sofia got out of her car, Brass told her the thief was a young girl.
With a gun.
Great.
Another kid with a gun.
Officers closed in on the locked down vehicle, and the girl panicked.
In slow motion, Sofia heard Brass yell, "Shots fired!"
Maybe Sara had the right idea.
Maybe there is more to life than seeing the worst that people have to offer every day.
Maybe.
