Chapter 1: Into the Cosmodrome

Tracer's P.O.V

Tracer blinked swiftly down into the lab of her primate friend, Winston. The gorilla had called the woman, informing her that he had an upgraded version of her Chronal Accelerator (which she had asked for), ready at his lab for her to test out.

"Hey love!" Tracer yelled out to Winston as she entered the lab.

"Hello Lena." The scientist replied from his worktable, where he was putting the finishing touches on the upgraded device. "Glad you could get here so fast!"

"Well of course! I'm exited to see the upgrade."

Winston chuckled softly at what she said, before saying, "Well here you go then! One upgraded Chronal Accelerator. It will allow you to blink farther, and more often, and the rewind will get you further back than your currant rewind." He explained for the brunette.

"Sweet! Lets test this baby out!" Tracer said, before swapping the Accelerator she had on for the newer one. Immediately, she started to blink around the room, moving from one place to another with massive speed, before returning to the workbench.

"Looks like the blinks working!" Winston exclaimed, clearly happy with his work. "Now, try the rewind."

Tracer nodded to the gorilla, and tried to activate the rewind. But the jolt back never occurred. "Uhh, love? I think you didn't do the rewind properly."

"Nonsence! It should work."

"Then why..." Tracer started, but then blue crackling began to surround her. "Huh, musta been a delayed response?"

Winston's P.O.V

"I'd say it was, if it wasn't for the face that YOU AREN'T ACTUALLY REWINDING!" The worried ape yelled, freaking out. Tracer scoffed. Then realized that he had a point, and that the blue energy had begun to completely surround her with it's light. "Winston! What the bloody hell is going on!"

"I HAVE NO CLUE!" He shouted, looking for a solution. He was too late, as Tracer had vanished with a flash of blue energy.

Tracer's P.O.V

All she could see was the blue light surrounding her, smothering her with its power. The Chronal Accelerator on her chest was spinning like crazy, filled with the same power as the light surrounding her. Then it all stopped, and all that surrounded her was snow, rock and derbies. "Wait... Snow? Rocks? Wasn't I in Winston's underground lab?" Tracer though to herself. "Were even am I?" she said out loud. She wasn't expecting the noises from behind. She turned around just in time to see a fist punch her into darkness.
