I smiled as soon as I got to the house my wife and I shared. I took out my key and unlocked the door dragging my trunk behind me. I closed the door behind me after walking in and seeing Taryn and Paxton waiting for me. "I wish my birthday wasn't in the middle of summer." I grumbled. Taryn and Paxton both laughed for a second before I started laughing as well. I dropped my trunk to the ground before pulling them both into a hug. I then gave Taryn a kiss and said "I'm sorry about leaving you alone for the school year."
"It's fine Harry, Paxton is well behaved for 3 months old. I haven't had many problems with him once I got used to him waking in the middle of the night."
"I'm still sorry I couldn't be there for you, but it's great that he is so well behaved. Can I hold him?"
"Of course you can he's your son." Taryn said before handing him to me. "It's almost his bed time though so could you put him to bed at seven."
"I don't know how." I said sheepishly.
"Don't worry about it Harry, I'll help you until you can do it on your own." I grinned at her before she continued saying, "Everyone is going to find out about us though."
"What do you mean?" I asked her.
"I applied to transfer to Hogwarts before I found out I was pregnant with Paxton, I was excepted just a couple days ago and I'm not going to leave him here alone."
"It's okay Taryn, really, I knew it was going to happen sometime and I really don't care with you there I can be myself."
"Really" she asked "You won't do the boy-who-lived act anymore and you'll be the boy I met at school when we were three."
"Yes, I won't act like the boy-who-lived anymore."
She grinned and said "Your supposed friends won't know will they?"
"No" I answered "They don't know anything about me or my act."
We both laughed before we put Paxton to bed and went to bed ourselves.
