Sakura looked up at his sleeping form. She slightly smiled, his face was very cute when he looked peaceful. Sakura had been awake for quite some time now, glancing at the clock, she sighed and let her head fall back against the pillow.

Today was another day to fulfill her duty as a nurse in the Konoha hospital.

Sighing, she closed her eyes, cuddled next to Naruto, and tried to fall back asleep. His rythmic breathing, and the slow heaves his chest made when he breathed in and out, comforted Sakura as she tried to clear her mind.

She finally felt true love, love that was genuine, and two-sided, the kind of admiration they had for each other was something that others envied. The respect he had for her was substantial, he never doubted her strength or her wisdom, he took Sakura for who she was.

It made her who she is today.

Real, genuine love is not something that is so easily given, only the right person could give Sakura what she needed, only the right person could open her heart in ways even she didn't know. At one point she thought she knew the person who could do that for her, Sakura thought even she could change the evilness growing inside him.

Tightening her eyes, she sighed.

Sasuke.

It was truly sad how she couldn't previously get over him, over the course of three years. Even when he almost killed her — she was blinded by his false beauty and the acclaim he received because of his prestigious clan.

The all-mighty Uchiha.

Scoffing, Sakura felt like scolding her younger self, yelling even — for all the times her judgement was clouded, and for all the times she cried over Sasuke Uchiha. But most importantly, for hurting the one person who meant the most to her.

Naruto.

She smiled against his bare chest. Naruto, her knight in shining armor, the fool in the orange jumpsuit, the rambunctious blond that tried to win her heart the first time he laid his eyes on her — for her ridiculous pink hair and oversized forehead, her loud and annoying voice that spat out the name Sasuke every chance she had. Regardless of how many times she hurt him phisically and mentally, he never gave up.

Sakura snuggled closer to him.

She remembered when she was 16, three years ago, Naruto saved her from what could have been a fatal attack. The attack that opened her eyes, that day, she realized exactly who and what Sasuke was — the monster that couldn't be saved, someone who ever knew hate and favored power over love.

Ever since that day, she couldn't stop thinking about Naruto, the kindness that emanated from him. The love and genuine happiness and respect he held for her, something she knew she would never get from Sasuke. The legitimacy of his feelings is what really made Sakura fall for him. That, and the ridiculous plan that pig had, handcuffing her and Naruto together in a room with no possible escape, except for a kiss.

Rolling her eyes, she silently giggled at the thought of kissing Naruto only to escape a cell. Now, Sakura couldn't go one day without giving her boyfriend a loving smooch, something she got extremely used to. Still, she couldn't believe that it took her that long to realize her affection for Naruto.

Slightly grimacing, Sakura would be lying, though, if she said she never thought about Sasuke when she was with Naruto. When she thought about him she felt so wrong, even though she would never cheat on Naruto with Sasuke, or with anyone for that matter, it just happened. Sakura sometimes even thought about Sasuke when her and Naruto were getting intimate. Even though it wasn't on purpose, she despised herself for it.

She moved on.

Right?

Naruto cleared his throat, pulling her out of her thoughts. "You okay Sakura-chan?"

Slightly gasping, she blinked and wondered when the hell he woke up. Did she say that out loud? Sakura looked up from his chest and gave him the most questionable look in her life. "What?"

Naruto slightly laughed, he whispered in her ear, a little too seductively. "Your nails are piercing my back, and blood is staining the sheets."

Slightly blushing, she mentally sighed and pulled her nails out of his back, giving Naruto an apologetic look, kami, she hadn't even noticed when they got there...

Sakura focused some chakra, with a soft green light illuminating from her palms and a comforting buzzing sound, she healed his back and giggled nervously. Biting her lip, she apologized softly to her boyfriend of two and a half years.

Without another thought, he was on top of her and inhaling her scent. It was so toxic to him, he would do it all day if she let him. Their bodies entangled in Naruto's sheets, even in the morning he smelt enchanting to Sakura, his natural scent was intoxicating, his blond hair falling in all the right places and his blue eyes looking directly into her emerald ones gave her goosebumps from another world.

God, she loved him.

She was awed at his speed, as he breathed in her scent, he rubbed his feet with hers and smiled when she lightly gasped at the sudden change in body movement. His tongue licked that ticklish spot on her neck, a spot which was always her weak spot for him. And only him.

Naruto brought his lips close to hers and gave her a chaste kiss. His mouth never leaving her lips, he lightly whispered, "What were you thinking about?"

Sakura bit her lip, she obviously couldn't tell him the truth, how she thought about Sasuke every so often, how he plagued her memories, bad memories, but still her memories. The rage and betrayal he would feel would no doubt send him into fits of anger, the type of anger that no one should feel from the person they love.

After the pressure of the bite hitting her, she felt the blood trickle down from her lips and the salty taste of copper sting her tongue. As soon as Naruto noticed, he licked the blood off of his cherry blossom and kissed the small wound on her lip.

God, he loved her.

"I was just having a nightmare," She lied, "When I woke up I started to think about it. And it scared me."

Widening his eyes a bit, he asked. "What was it about?"

Putting her arms around his neck, she tightened her hold as she leaned up and kissed his cheek lightly, "I forgot." She said simply.

Naruto caught on and leaned down.

Before they knew it, the sun starter to rise. Sakura glanced at the clock on her wall, realizing it was past six forty five in the morning, she quickly got out from beneath Naruto. She ran into the bathroom and took a quick shower. Naruto tilted his eyes in surprise, he looked at the clock and sighed.

Oh yeah...

He rested on his bed and put his arms beneath his head. Closing his eyes, but not sleeping, he remembered her shift started sharp at six-thirty AM today.

She ran out the bathroom with a towel around her and dug in the drawers of Naruto's room. She got out a big white shirt two sizes too big, and orange pants. Naruto opened an eye as he saw her get dressed in his clothing.

"Oi, Sakura-chan those are my clothes!"

Sakura ignored him and ran out the door, only taking a few seconds to come back and kiss his cheek, she left through his window. Naruto smirked and sat back on his bed, quickly falling asleep.

Sakura entered her house sprinting to her closet, she tore open the door and quickly found her medic uniform, she put it on and was on her way to the hospital.

As Sakura was walking, she mentally reprimanded herself. Being this late, Tsunade-sama is going to kill me.

As she was rushing herself to work, she stopped dead in her tracks. Sakura recognized that chakra signature she felt.

There were a mix of emotions all over her face, confusion, worry, and most of all shock. Clearing her head, she ran over to him.

As he clutched onto the walls, he couldn't stop himself from subcumming to his injuries. Leaving a bloody trail from his travels, he fainted almost as soon as he saw her.

The last thing he saw was a blur of pink.

The Hospital

She wrapped the bandage around his ankle, to say she was surprised would be an understatement. She looked up at Neji and saw his face totally confused with anger. His face was flared with veins popping out, his legs were very tense, as he was was definitely not letting his guard down not even in a hospital. Not even around Sakura.

She felt a bit worried, if not confused. If he couldn't trust herof all medics. He was shaking from anger and to tell the truth she thought he was scared, probably more scared than angry.

Apparently, Neji was leading his ANBU team into enemy territory, when he was at the border of Fire Country all of a sudden his teammates fell to their knees. Shocked, he turned around, his eyes widened at the sudden appearance of him. Before Neji could act on his appearance he made the mistake of taking a glance at said person's eyes.

Neji quickly collapsed.

The genjutsu was no ordinary illusion, it used his worst nightmares and combined them into one. His father dying in front of him, the blood splatting on his face over and over, his teammates dying in front of him. It all replayed over and over and added things that could happen in the future which scared him the most.

Even though the illusion wasn't for long it seemed like a century to him. The last thing he remembers is some orange haired guy carrying him over his shoulders near Konoha. And he heard him say, "He'll return. He will be on your side." And the guy dashed back to wherever he came from.

Sakura tightened the white cloth. "So you were ambushed, a guy put you under a genjutsu," Clearing her throat so she wouldn't give a raspy reply, "you can't remember who it was since the genjutsu only makes you remember what the user wants you to remember, you then fainted, when a guy with orange hair returned you to the outskirts of the village and said, 'he'll return, he isn't the enemy?' and then left?"

Neji nodded. "That is correct." He said with a little strain in his voice.

Sasuke.

Sakura bit her lip. He's finally coming back. After all these years, of finding him, then letting him slip through their hands again and again, eventually they gave up anyway because of his reluctance. Naruto slowly started to hate him more and more.

Sakura didn't care and never thought about it. But now that he was coming back... what wound happen? Could they be a team once more and overcome their differences?

Scoffing, she got up and filed Neji's injuries. She just knew the council would erase his criminal history, and the Hokage will pardon him. Konoha will welcome him with open arms since he is the last Uchiha. And they probably wouldn't even bother setting up a marriage, they'll assign some innocent girl to have his babies.

As Sasuke is, he wouldn't even touch her, he would probably just donate his sperm to her. Sakura glared at the piece of paper that she was writing on, she nearly broke the pencil. That bastard cares for himself and only himself.

Hell, if the baby didn't turn out to have his bloodline limit, he'd probably eat the thing!

Slightly giggling at her joke, she kept writing down his injuries.

So why was she so worried about the Uchiha's return anyway?

It's not like she cared. The Uchiha was the last person she thought about and the least important. She moved on a long time ago.

Right?

Naruto put on his jonin outfit and headed out his apartment. Getting ready to go see Baa-chan for a mission, Naruto secured his leaf forehead protector as he walked silently through Konoha, enjoying the scenery of the kids running and playing, and the delicious smell of food being cooked in the background.

"Hey, Naruto!" Kiba rode on Akamaru's back.

Naruto looked up at his canine-looking friend and greeted him with his signature grin. "Hey, Kiba"

He got off of Akamaru's back and greeted Naruto properly.

"You going on a mission with your genin?"

He nodded, while rolling his eyes, boy did he dislike those brats. Since he wasn't promoted to ANBU he had to stick with being a jonin for the time being, oh and Tsunade had to toss in some genin to his chagrin.

"Well, I didn't come here to chat about them," he paused and looked at Naruto cautiously, "just came to tell you that Sakura wanted to see you before you go on your mission... I guess it has something to do with her recent findings of Neji."

Kiba said, quickly getting on Akamaru, "Ja ne!" and left in a flashy puff of smoke.

Naruto rose an eyebrow before shrugging it off and turning opposite of the Hokage monument. He walked at a quicker pace towards the hospital.

The Hospital

Naruto entered, he went to the receptionist desk.

"Hi, Ayame-chan!"

She put her magazine down and glanced up, "Hey, Naruto," she said with a lower voice, as they were in a hospital, "What can I do for you?"

He leaned on the counter, shrugging he answered causally, "Where can I find your top medic?" smirking, he saw Ayame laugh. "You are too nice." She said giggling, she then pointed down a hallway. "Sakura will be in room 110, it's just the left of the first turn."

Nodding, he walked down the hallway.

Neji was sitting on the examination table, he still needed a lot of stitches because of the long fall. Not to mention how rough the terrain was. If the guy who ambushed him wasn't careful, he could have killed him.

Could it really be him though? Sakura thought, after all of those years of chasing him, when they decide to give up, that's when he returns. Was that what he wanted from the beginning, to be left alone?

Once she thought about it, Sasuke did nothing wrong in his seven years of absence. He never targeted Konoha, he actually helped... but it's hard to look at it that way. He killed Orochimaru, who was a huge threat to Konoha, and Danzo... the very man who supposedly caused Sasuke to leave the village anyway, since he was one of the people behind the Uchiha massacre.

But he did join Akatsuki to help track down a junchuriki - which in hindsight caused them to get closer to Naruto... But it had no affect since they won the war and killed Madara... Did Sasuke actually change? and if he did, did he change for the better?

If he did come back, would he ever... decide to chase for her affection? What if she were the only person he would want to restore his clan with?

Rolling her eyes she scoffed. Like he would pick her. She kept writing down Neji's injuries-

Wait.

Did she just entertain the thought of... being a possible candidate for him to restore his clan with?

Breaking her pencil at the sheer disbelief of her thoughts, the sound of knocking at the door brought her out of it. Sighing with relief, she thanked the heavens... but she couldn't get that feeling out of her stomach. Rolling her eyes, she decided to drop it.

Opening the door, Naruto kissed her cheek quickly before greeting her. "Hey, Sakura-chan."

She smiled brightly, "Hi, Naruto," But the smile gradually went away as she glanced at Neji than at Naruto. "I think... we have an unexpected visitor arriving in Konoha soon."

Naruto looked shaken back a little and blinked twice. When he was about to ask, she held up a hand. "Neji and his team were ambushed. He still doesn't know what happened to them," Naruto rose his brow. "The person who ambushed him...put him under a genjutsu."

Naruto's eyes narrowed.

Sakura explaining the situation to Naruto, saw the reaction the news brought him, the mixture of emotions in his face made Sakura question Naruto's true feelings about their former teammate.

The blond ninja sighed under his breath. "So he's back." Sakura nodded and crossed her arms over her chest. "What happened to Neji's team?" Naruto said looking past Sakura at the patient in question. He had the same expression on his face as Sakura did.

They both had no clue.

"The genjutsu he used on him makes him remember what the caster wants him to. So obviously he didn't want him to remember what or where his teammates are or what he did to them."

Naruto's fist tightened, he was puzzled at the thought of Sasuke coming back.

9999

She dashed over to the bridge, crouching behind a wall, once feeling his chakra signature she glanced from behind the corner and saw as he was about to kill a woman on the ground.

As Sasuke was preparing to kill her, she appeared in front of him.

His eyes widened a little.

"Sasuke-kun! Stop! Let me kill her, because I want to be with you, even if it means betraying Konoha," taking out a kunai, "I love you and I want to show you my redemption."

Not saying anything, he stopped in his tracks and waited.

She walked over to the fallen women and silently cried. I love Sasuke and I'll show him.

Before she got near the girl, Sasuke appeared behind her with a crackling chidori in his hands. Shocked, Kakashi arrived just in time to make the chidori avoid Sakura.

Naruto felt Sakura shiver in his arms. She was laying besides him, her back against him, she felt extremely cold. Alarming Naruto, he quickly woke her up and saw her face full of tears.

"Sakura...?" Naruto shook her shoulder, she started to stir than he saw her open her eyes, confusing Naruto a little, he brought the covers closer to her.

She looked around frantically until she saw Naruto pulling the sheets closer. Without another thought she clung onto him and stayed there. As if never wanting to let go.

Naruto widened his eyes but hugged her nevertheless. "What's wrong Sakura? did you have a nightmare?"

Shaking her head fiercely, she let go of him, gave him a chaste kiss and got up. "I need some air. I'm going to go for a walk."

Naruto nodded, "Be careful okay? If you're not back in a few I'll come look for you."

She gave a silent okay, and left.

0000

As Sakura walked through the village, she thought of only one guy.

Uchiha Sasuke.

She couldn't stop thinking about him. No matter how bad it sounded, she couldn't keep him off her mind. It's been weeks since any sighting of him from Neji so by then Naruto let it drop and so did Sakura.

Not really.

He was haunting her every thought, this was the third night in a row she had a dream about Sasuke. The sad thing is that she didn't think it was a nightmare, they were horrific, but she didn't consider it anything but a dream. But how can a dream leave her waking up in cold sweats and dry tears?

Slowly walking around a corner she saw a small bench, the bench that night when she was just thirteen, when she wanted to run away with her "love", the very same person who knocked her out, leaving her on the cold floor.

Sakura approached it slowly, remembering what happened here approximately six years ago, she brushed her fingers over the cold wood. Though the memory of him knocking her out haunted her, the closeness of his breath and the authenticity his voice had, had her slightly smile at the nostalgic moment they shared at this very location.

Even though it was one of the worst days of her life, it was also one of the best as she remembered the words he spoke to her, the proximity of his breath on the back of her neck and his monotone voice making her shiver with excitement when she was younger.

Letting the memory fade, she slowly sat down on the cold bench wondered why she was reminiscing about some guy who tried to kill her multiple times, and called her names that lowered her self esteem on more than one occasion, in the middle of the night?

Was she possibly... harboring feelings for the S-Class criminal, Uchiha Sasuke once again?

He was mentioned only once and she couldn't stop thinking about him.

What about his aura kept dragging her back to his affections? The last time she saw him was about three years ago, and his aura was nothing but killer intent written all over it.

Sighing with annoyance, she started to shiver because of the cold air. Bringing her knees to her chest she buried her face into her knee caps. "Why do I feel this way?"

Waiting for some type of reply, she never got one.

Waiting here was not an option as she felt she was going to catch some type of hypothermia, she started to get up, just when she felt it.

She sat back down.

That chakra signature, a cold demonic signature that could only belong to one person she knew. She clutched her knuckles before scanning the area, looking around dazed and scared. Her sight was almost as weak as her knees, getting up slowly, she tried to grab a kunai but to no avail, met woolly pajama pants instead.

Calming down, she decided that the best approach for her would be to stay calm and collected.

Sighing, she crossed her arms over her chest.

"So when were you planning on unmasking your chakra?"

After a few seconds of waiting, she finally heard some leaves rustling.

A dark figure landed on the ground right in front of her, slightly looking up, he gave a grunt before standing up straight.

Sakura would be lying if she said she wasn't blushing. His shirt was ripped through the middle with it barely being classified as a shirt, his abs were toned, showing off battle scars he proudly proclaimed.

He had a small but deep cut in the middle of his stomach with blood slowly oozing out, which in hindsight made him look even more masculine and rough.

His face looked especially attractive, probably because of the maturity he's gone through in the past three years.

"Sakura," He gave a curt nod.

Sakura rolled her eyes and tried to force a glare without looking at his stomach. "You didn't answer my question."

"Hm,"

Much to her annoyance, she figured that after a few seconds she thought he wouldn't answer but saw that he was looking deep into her eyes for something. Then she saw his eyes quickly flicker down to her attire.

"My chakra was never masked, you were too distracted to have noticed me approach you with full caution. You should be alert at all times, especially out doors in your current attire, Sakura."

Slightly taken aback by his apparent worriedness for her, she shook it off and continued pressing him for information.

"What do you want?"

He didn't respond for a few moments, until the silence soon became unbearable. She shifted in her spot when she saw an unreadable look on the young Uchiha's face.

"I came back to rebuild something that was taken away from me," she raised a brow as she saw him slowly approach her, she knew she should move but her legs stopped responding, her heart started racing and her body started sweating. With every step he took, it was as if she was mesmerized by his voice alone.

Gulping down as he slowly came closer, she glared at him. "I want to rebuild my clan, and I only want one person to help me do that."

He said now closer to her, he bent his head down and saw as her eyes became half lidded, his breath was mingling with hers, he smirked slightly and whispered to her.

"I want you."

9999

Naruto stirred in his bed looking at the ceiling, figuring that it was past the time he said he'd go look for Sakura, he got up and looked out his window. He oddly felt a disturbing feeling in his stomach and left his apartment immediently.

He walked with a quick pace.

As he felt the feeling in his stomach worsen, he walked faster and eventually started dashing, searching for her chakra signature.

9999

Sakura didn't know what she was doing, she couldn't move away. She knew it was too tempting to move, her knees felt like they were going to buckle right there and then.

Sakura focused on Sasuke's eyes, within the dark color they had always been, were evil for as long as she knew him, that never knew love. She couldn't understand why he was doing this, she couldn't understand why she wasn't stepping away.

But then she remembered Naruto.

Naruto who kept his promise to find Sasuke,

Who saved her life multiple times,

The only person who was there for her when she kept crying over Sasuke,

Whose been her boyfriend for over two years,

Whose loved her for over seven,

And all that will be wasted for this one kiss.

Sasuke lowered his pursed, cold lips to hers, and for the love of kami... she couldn't move.

Konaha

Naruto found Sakura's chakra signature, but surprisingly, there was another one mingling with hers.

Chakra isn't suppose to 'mingle' they only 'mingle' when one is being intimate. Naruto didn't think about it, he just kept going, his mind couldn't process what he just put together. He just needed to get to Sakura, she could be hurt... she could need him.

Then, it hit him. He realized that the two chakras were almost becoming one... not really, but it was an odd feeling when he knew that the other chakra he felt was dark, very explicitly emotionless and evil.

Naruto stopped in his tracks and let all of it fall into place, he digested all of the information he just learned. His feeling of worry quickly escaped him and was replaced with anger. Pure, raw, anger. He clenched his knuckles so hard that he could have swore he felt bone.

Naruto kept going.

0000

Sakura succumbed to the kiss and tilted her head to deepen it. It felt so wrong... so why was she doing it? When Sasuke tried to put his hands around her waist she picked them up and returned them to him. This was entirely wrong.

Shaking her head fiercely she ended the kiss. As Sakura was about to tell him she was in a relationship with Naruto, Sasuke collapsed in front of her.

"Huh?"

She dove down and felt his pulse, it was weak, but it was there. The deep gash in his chest made him faint, the blood loss took him down.

Running a quick hand through her hair, she sighed and stood up.

Just then, she felt him. The crushing chakra from Naruto almost made her collapse. Gasping slightly, she widened her eyes as she heard the leaves rustle behind her.

Sakura cursed herself and turned around, to see the betrayal on Naruto's face.

They stared at each other for what seemed like an eternity. His face was full of shock.

Before she could say anything, his eyes flickered from the beautiful shade of blue he would proclaim his love to her with, to the devilish red he would kill other ninja with.

Opening her mouth, even she couldn't think of what to say to him, her actions were inexcusable, and no amount of apologies could save her at this point. She never formed the words, one tear slowly started to fall as she tried to walk towards him.

But to no avail, Naruto turned away and started to leave, with traces of blood dripping from both his knuckles, showing how beset with anger he was.

He walked away.

Leaving Sakura.

xxxx

Not caring much about Sasuke's fallen body, Sakura quickly dragged him in front of the Hokage monument and discarded him in front of the building.

Sighing, she turned to the direction of Naruto's apartment.

What was she going to do?

Knocking fiercely at his door, she waited a few seconds before becoming inpatient. She couldn't blame him for locking her out and leaving... should she leave him alone?

No.

She took the pin that was holding up her hair and, with shaky hands, picked the lock. It wasn't long before she entered his apartment and noticed the empty feeling. It was completely dark, it was not uncommon for his apartment to be dark at night, but the place had an ominous feeling. Like she wasn't welcomed.

She bit her lip and walked down the hallway. Noticing the door was a little open, she entered to see him sitting on his bed, unresponsive. He looked like a statue, his hair was a mess and he still had his clothes on, the same ones that he put on to look for her.

She sat down beside him, they sat there in complete silence for what seemed like an eternity. Before she spoke, Sakura put a hand on his shoulder, he immediately tensed at the close contact.

She didn't care, as she expected this.

"Naruto," she paused for a second to find the words, to try to explain her actions. What else could she say but sorry? Apologies were so overrated and he deserved better than that.

Naruto didn't move, he had his hands on his lap while his body shook with betrayal. She couldn't say she was shocked, but she was worried about where they stood. Would he break up with her?

She leaned closer to him but saw as he narrowed his eyes at her close proximity. "Naruto... I would never cheat on you. You know I've always had this unhealthy addiction to Sasuke" She said while blinking away tears she knew would start, the way he was reacting to this situation broke her, could she really do this to him?

After a few moments of silence, she tensed and gritted her teeth, looking up at him, she removed her hand at the sudden tremble of his lips; but it wasn't sadness, no, it was anger, he was mad. She closed her eyes and tried to think of anything to have his forgiveness. But nothing came to mind. After seconds of anxiously waiting for his response, she worried it would never come.

Naruto sat there, thinking and reassessing his life up until a few minutes ago. He was happy, he had her, therefore he had everything. Everything was set, life was going the way it was supposed to go. They were happy.

Right?

Did she lose interest in him? That fast? What did he do wrong? He was infuriated, not only because Sakura kissed another man, but because she kissed Uchiha Sasuke. Uchiha Sasuke. Naruto knew he was no match for him physically, but he defeated him in a way that no other man could.

I beat him.

Naruto desperately thought, those words echoing in his head. He had Sakura, she was everything to him. And now? He slightly turned his head her way, his blond hair rustled all about his face.

He saw Sakura simply sitting on the bed. His bed. The bed they've confessed their love for... the bed that they've laughed and cried on.

As the silence became thick and unnatural, within minutes, she started losing hope.

Then he spoke.

"After all these years..." Naruto began with a rusty voice, turning his head back towards the floor, "I've tried and tried, and failed to get you to notice me. I was that lame kid who tried and failed to get the girl of his dreams." Naruto paused to clear his throat, "After you finally saw me, I felt like I had hope." He said, as he chuckled a bit with pain in his throat.

"After you finally acknowledged me and wanted to actually date me, I was high with happiness, nothing could have made me happier. You made me into a man." Naruto said painfully through his raspy voice.

Sakura looked onto him, wide-eyed as her heart clenched with every word he said. She wanted to touch him so badly, "And the day you told me you loved me," Naruto continued, while looking down. "was the best day of my life."

Sakura couldn't bare herself to look at him. He gave her his everything and this was how she repaid his love. Her tears stained her face as she tried to grasp his hand with hers.

He quickly pulled away.

Naruto looked her dead in the eyes. He couldn't help his jealousy taking over the demon side of him. The pressure in the air felt like an elephant on Sakura's shoulders, the pain she felt was surreal, the emotions that went through Naruto, was also going through Sakura. She felt everything he felt.

It felt terrible.

"After ten minutes..!" Naruto exclaimed with his teeth grinding, and his eyes wide with tears. Sakura looked away as quickly as possible, wincing at the pain behind his voice, the rawness he felt was heart breaking.

Naruto gripped his shirt where his heart was, twisting it in anger and sadness. "After Sasuke comes back for ten minutes you fall in love with him again!"

His breathing was spiking as his heart rate peeked over what was normal. He couldn't control this feeling he felt, this intense anger that slowly overcame who he was.

"Why can't I do that? Why can't I be your Sasuke, Sakura?" He yelled while brushing his hair out of his eyes. He sat there, an elevated heart beat pleading to burst out of his chest.

She turned towards him with wide eyes. Disbelief at what he said and what she saw.

Sakura couldn't fathom the anger she saw in his eyes. Did she really have the power to do this to him? His cherry blossom succumbing to another man, Sasuke no less. She couldn't imagine the repercussions if that kiss turned into something more, how he'd react.

Sakura moved closer to him. This time she gripped his hands and held tight so he wouldn't pull away. She looked into his eyes, longing for her Naruto back.

"Why did it take you so long to choose between the both of us, Sakura?" Naruto asked much calmer. She slowly caressed her thumb against his hand. She cursed to herself, how she treated him was unforgivable. She will never forgive herself for putting Naruto through this.

Naruto looked away and shook his head, still in disbelief. "I don't understand, Sakura." He tore his hand away from hers. "If you want to be with Sasuke, then just be with him. Don't stay with me because you obviously don't love me." He said with a shaken voice.

"if you did, you would have never fallen for him." He whispered silently.

Sakura was a bit taken aback by that statement. She didn't fall for him again, she was just caught in the moment, she felt. She wanted nothing to do with the Uchiha anymore, she was deeply in love with her boyfriend. Nothing, and no one, could tear her away from him.

She slowly lifted her hand to Naruto's soft whiskered face, turning him towards her. "There is nothing in this world that would tear me away from this relationship. I'm so sorry for what you saw, but what you saw meant absolutely nothing to me." The Haruno sighed, nodding her head.

"There will never be an explanation good enough to let you know how much I regret that stupid kiss." She paused, and looked at him, "But Naruto, it's you."

She started to caraess his face and she slowly got up to straddle his lap. "I want you to be my Naruto, I don't want you to be Sasuke." She gritted her teeth, trying to find the right words. "I want you." She said while leaning her forehead against his, she slowly put her arms around his neck.

"You know that at first it was Sasuke who I loved, it was his attention that I craved and his approval," She whispered painfully.

Naruto looked to the side while grimacing. She redirected his eyes back to hers.

"I can't deny that what I felt for him was nothing, and I can't deny that I use to be madly in love with him, but Naruto," She said with the most serious look on her face, staring deep into his now blue eyes, "It's you... I love you so much,"

His eyes softened but his face was still heavy with grief.

"I'm yours." Sakura said slowly.

She tightened her grasp on him and was still trying to find the right words to say in this delicate moment. Naruto's face was unreadable.

"I don't expect you to forget about this, I know my actions were unforgivable, but you have to believe me when I say, I didn't want Sasuke in anyway, I didn't mean to hurt you." She said while shaking her head upsettingly. "I don't want this to end, I don't want anyone else but you."

Slowly kissing his cheek, she kept her face close to his and whispered how sorry she was. Sakura looked at his face and still saw the immense pain he felt, he was looking down, but remained still at her words.

Sakura wiped away her own tears and looked at him for what seemed like forever. Naruto finally looked back up at her.

For a few seconds there was nothing but peaceful silence as he heard his one true childhood crush admit her feelings for him all over again. No matter what she did, he could never hate her or end their relationship.

"You are my everything." Naruto quietly said with his eyes half lidded looking down at the sheets beneath them. He let out a sigh before continuing. "I'll always love you,"

Sakura blinked a tear away and gave him a small smile. She lightly kissed his cheek again. "Naruto, I promise that you are and will always be my everything."

After a few seconds he looked her in the eyes but still had the same stoic expression on his face.

"Do you really mean that?"

She stroked the back of his head with her hand. Sakura got closer to her love and hugged him tightly.

Eventually Naruto returned the hug and held onto his true love even harder, as if to say that he is never going to let her go.

Sakura pulled back and slowly pressed her lips against Naruto's. He took a few moments to respond, but once he did, Sakura gave all of herself to him. She ran her hands through his hair and kissed him with all she had in her.

She took off his shirt, and kissed him all over his body, whispering how much she loved him after each one.
