I did not know it at the time, but it seemed as though I had been waiting my whole life for this. Not this in particular, but to be yours—wholly and completely yours.
Brushing a hand through your curly bronze locks and looking into your chocolate brown eyes as you touched my face, letting me know without words that you wanted me and how you felt, I finally understood what the others had talked about.
I had been yours completely for seven years, and in that soft touch you let me know that you now were mine as well.
