This was made for Arison-chan for last years FLOL Secret Santa contest I was in.
"Man, its so cold." Ichigo complained as he started to rub his arms with his hands to generate some kind of heat.
"Sorry, Kurosaki-kun. I didn't know that the heater would break." Orihime apologize to her freezing boyfriend.
"Don't say sorry for something that isn't your fault." Ichigo tried to reassure her.
"Still, I should at least do something to make you feel more comfortable."
The two were doing their homework at the healer's house, well trying to anyway. But with the weather being nearly thirty degrees outside and with a busted heater, the coldness made concentrating very hard to do.
"Maybe I can find something to keep us warm." She said, standing up from the floor where they were doing their homework on the desk. She headed to the back of her apartment and opened the door to her closet and rummage through it, trying to find a blanket for them.
"You don't have to do that." He called out to her, not wanting to trouble her.
"Its alright." She answered back, continuing her search for anything to combat the cold.
After a couple more minutes, Orihime finally came back to the living room. She was carrying a green blanket. "I could only find this in my closet. I think the other blankets are in the washer. But you can have this." As the gentle healer handed over the wool material.
The still cold teenager took the blanket from his girlfriend. " But what about you?" He asked in concern, watching as she took her place beside him.
"Don't worry about me, I'm use to the cold." She gave him a brave smile before going back to work on her math
Not liking the situation in hand, Ichigo started to think of a way so that both of them would be warm. When he did come up with something, he had a wolfish smile on his face..
Orihime paused in her writing when she felt something creep behind her. She turned her head around to see her boyfriend snuggling up behind her.
"I think I know a perfect way for the both of us to get warm." As he started to unfold the blanket. He then proceeded to wrapped it around their body, his arms going over her shoulder and pulling her closer to his chest.
Orihime couldn't help but blush at the intimate closeness they were in." Bu-but y-you wont be-be able to do your homework." She started to stuttered, till not use to this sort of familiarity from Ichigo..
"I'm not to worry about it." As he nuzzled his nose against her neck. The act making the auburn girl to shiver in mixer of pleasure and surprise. "I enjoy watching you doing your work."
"If you say so." As she picked up her pencil and started to do her work. She was actually starting to feel warm now. But she didn't know if it was from the blanket or the heat that was emitting from her own body because of being so close to Ichigo. She was leaning toward the latter.
A few hours later.
"All finish." Orihime said excitedly, a please smile on her face. "I guess you can do your homework now, Kurosaki-kun." A little reluctant to move from this wonderful warmth.
No reply.
"Kurosaki-kun?"
Again, no reply.
That's was when Orihime finally look at her boyfriend. And what she saw made her heart wept in love.
Ichigo's head was resting comfortably on the nook of the healer's shoulder, his eyes closed and snoring peacefully in his sleep.
"He looks so cute when he sleeps." Orihime said quietly so as not to wake him up.
She then wiped a piece of his orange hair away from his face. "Thank you for keeping me warm Ichigo." As she kiss him gently on his lips.
She finally got to kiss him while he was sleeping.
