AN: Hi! This drabbley one-shot was based off Mother's Day, a comic by Yu-oka on deviantart. Go check her out!

Springtime suited Kurt. Birdsong heralded an end to the slushy Ohio winter and the start of a milder skincare regime. Spring was in full swing- dewy green grass, blossoming trees and warm yellow sunshine painted the world with a new season.

And on one of these spring days- a particular day, in fact- Kurt walked hand in hand with his boyfriend, boot-clad feet lightly kicking up sprays of dew, through the simple maze of knee-high grey stones. Blaine faithfully carried the ruffly bouquet of flowers as Kurt led the way down an invisible, but familiar path. As they walked, the air filled with silent affection and nervous anticipation, mingling with the warm sunshine. The couple came to a stop.

"Hi, Mom!"

Kurt gently removed the bouquet from Blaine's hands and knelt to lay it in front of the engraved stone.

"Happy Mother's Day! ...I brought you some flowers. And... Blaine is here, too. You remember him?"

Blaine squatted next to Kurt, watching obediently, smiling as Kurt said sheepishly, "He is the boy I talked about all the time... He is... we are together now... and... I really love him..."

"I love you too, Kurt."

Kurt sniffled, clutching Blaine's hand to his chest as the shorter boy gently nuzzled Kurt's cheek. "And... and I know you would really like him too, mom..."

Small tears were shed; small kisses were shared, and the warm spring sun set as the cemetary gates closed behind them.

AN: Soooo... I know it wasn't really long. Oh well. I live in Ohio so I know how the winters are... Please review!

Bye! ~Sarah
