Author's Note: Behold, the first chapter of my Bartman series. I was looking through some of my old Bartman comics, and thought hey, I'll do a series about the spikey headed protector of Springfield. Enjoy part one, any suggestions or comments are appreciated.

Bartman Adventures

By day I'm Springfield Elementary's most feared hell raiser. By night I fight against the dark underbelly of Springfield.

I'm Bart Simpson, who the hell are you?

But at night, I'm Bartman, the cape and cowled crime fighter of Springfield.

Weird, huh?

How'd I get into the crime fighting game? Maybe to many comic books, but the hero bug bit me and I'm lovin' it.

I found the Bart Cave after finding out my treehouse was built on half dug tunnel my dad started but never finished. Seemed like a good place to set up a secret base.

I was able to pick up a grabbling gun from Professor Frink's dumpster, so I can do some cool building to building Spider-Man stuff.

All I needed was a little help, and Milhouse was the man for the job of sidekick. As the loyal House Boy, he there activates the 'Bart Signal' (With a flash light, I'm not made of money people) to summon me when it's evil butt kicking time.

"I'll pound you someday Bartman!" Jimbo Jones yelled as Cheif Wiggum shoved him into the back of a police cruiser.

Bartman watched from a nearby roof with a smirk. Good job Bartman, you foiled Jimbo's plot to egg the Mayor during his most recent public apology. This will win me some points with the politicans.

He fired his grappling gun and swung towards landed on the roof of 742 Evergreen Terrace, he started walking towards his window, but paused when he noticed Laura Powers sitting on her porch sneaking a cigarette next door. Aw Laura, the girl of my dreams, the Vickie Vale to my Michael Keaton's Batman. Someday you'll notice me.

Bart then slipped in through his window and took off his mask and cape. "Another baddie bites the dust. I really should get paid for this." And with that he went to bed.

In another area of Springfield...

Dolph and Kearney looked around the surroundings of the old building. In a large chair infront of sat a dark shadowy figure.

"Where is Jimbo?" A raspy voice hissed.

Dolph and Kearney looked at each other and gulped.

"Uh, well, boss dude...He's got picked up by the feds." Dolph finally said nervously.

"WHAT!" The figure shouted. "He had a very simple mission tonight. Did he at least egg the mayor?"

Again Dolph and Kearney gulp. The figure hissed again.

"How did he screw up something so simple?!"

Kearny gathered to courage to speak. "Bartman."

"BARTMAN! BAH!" The figure shouted. "Jimbo couldn't handle a child in a halloween costume?!"

"Dude, Bartman is tough. He beats us all the time." Dolph said.

The figure hissed again. "It seems employing you three numb skulls might have been a mistake. Spring Jimbo before he squeals and ruins everything."

"You want us to try and take down Bartman?" Kearney asked.

"No, it's clear I'll need more competent help. But, perhaps I'll be able to find something simple to assign you three to. Until then, begone from my sight!" Kearney and Dolph quickly cleared out.

The figure stood up and looked out a near by window. "Enjoy your little adventures while you can Bartman, for you will know the wraith of Steel Tongue!"

There we go, we have the beginning of a plot. Bartman, a crush, and a major villian looking to take down the defender of Springfield.

Wanna help me out? How about giving me some suggestions for villians for Bartman.
