"Yoshirou! You have to run!"
...Why this again?
"Get to the Portal, There isn't much time!"
"We'll be right behind you-"
"GUY'S LOOK OUT!" Yoshirou shouted as a dark figure approched the beings infront of him. The young hybrid bird shut his eyes. Something warm splattered unto his face. His brothers were in front of him, gashes in their skin and a crimson liquid collecting in their feathers. Tears formed in his eyes as the dark figure approched him...
'No...L-leave me alone...' he though, but he couldn't speak, he was too scared...too weak to do anything.
-sh?...osh...
"Yosh!" a voice shouted, "Wake up!"
The penguin jolted his eyes open, practically gasping for air. He looked to his side and saw a familiar face, sighing in relief...
"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine, Pearl." Yosh told his friend.
"Are you sure?" Pearl asked, still very concered.
"Y-yeah..." The penguin rubbed his eyes and layed back down. He still felt weak from the earlier week...Quite the adventure that was...
"Do you need anything?" Pearl asked, "A glass of water, perhaps
"N-no, I'm fine," Yosh answered, "I think I'll just go back to sleep..."
"Okay then," Pearl sighed, "Try to get some rest, you're still healing."
"Alright, thanks..." The green penguin stated. Pearl left the room, still not sure if her friend was completly fine. Yosh kept his eyes open, his vision was blurred since he wasn't wearing his glasses. He didn't feel like sleeping, afraid that he'd have the same dream again.
This nightmare was a recurring one... One he'd had ever since he was a kid. He didn't know why he kept remembering that day, but it wasn't one that could easily be forgotten either...
The penguin grabbed his knap-sack from beside the couch. He reached in and pulled out three feathers. One red. One blue. And one yellow. Yosh held them close to his chest and began to sob quietly.
"I'm s-sorry..." He murmered, "I'm sor-ry..." The penguin stayed like this for a while as his crying slowly lulled him to sleep...

I had a different idea for this one originally, but I really wanted to write something with Yosh.. so here ya go.
