Squirrelflight padded over to Brambleclaw.
"Do you want to go hunting?" she meowed.
Brambleclaw agreed. He had started liking Squirrelflight more than just a friend since their first journey to sun-drown-place to get StarClan's message from Midnight. Now the Clans were settled nicely into their new home. Brambleclaw followed Squirrelflight into the bracken, scenting the air, but really concentrating on Squirrelflight's beautiful ginger fur, and how it gleamed like fire in the sunlight.
How much longer will it take to cure this?
Just to cure it because I can't ignore it if it's love (love)

Squirrelflight turned around, noticing Brambleclaw distracted. Brambleclaw shook his head.
"Let's hunt now, shall we?"
He tasted the air, not really for trying to scent prey, but to drink in Squirrelflight's wonderful smell.
"What?" purred Squirrelflight, coming closer, so that their pelts touched.
"Follow me."

Brambleclaw raced through the undergrowth, Squirrelflight right behind him. He stopped before a great meadow, with rolling hills and trickling streams.
"Wow," breathed Squirrelflight.
Brambleclaw purred and licked Squirrelflight's ear.
Squrrielflight purred and nuzzled his head.

Squirrelflight ran out onto the flowing meadows. Brambleclaw raced after her, and the two chased each other all over until they grew so tired that they collapsed, right there on the grassy plains. Squirrelflight laughed, the wind making the grass sway. The two cats edged closer to each other so that their pelts were touching. Brambleclaw looked into Squirrelflight's eyes, and she did the same back. At that instant they both realized they were perfect for each other.
