Broken wing

She loved him like he was the last man on earth

Serena walked by Darien she liked him though she would never tell him that but he never noticed how much his insults hurt her.

Gave him every thing she ever head

She just hid how much the insults hurt her as much as she could.

But could not hide it from her friends.

And he'd break her spirit down then coming up on earth

Give a little take it back

Darien in return only insulted her he just called her names and laughed at her.

He made fun of her every chance he got not paying any attention

To mow much it really hurt her.

She'd tell him about her dreams he'd just shoot u'm down

Lord he loved to make her cry

She would tell her friend Motoki about her dreams and if Darien over heard he just made fun of them

Not noticing how much, he made her cry or he just didn't care.

Your crazy for believing you'll ever leave the ground

Said only angles know how to fly

Serena would then go to her secret place to hide from him and tried to repair her shattered dreams.

But her dreams just stayed broken like an old toy beyond fixing.

With a broken wing she carries her dreams

She keeps her eye on the sky

With a broken wing she carries her dreams

Man you ought to see her fly

Serena just prayed for a day her dreams would come true and that Darien could see her for what she was.

She was a person with feelings.

One Sunday morning she didn't go to church he wondered why she didn't be

One day, Darien realized Serena had not showed up at the arcade and had not seen her all day.

He decided to look for her at her house.

He went up to the bedroom, found a note by the window

With the curtains blowing in the breeze

When he got there he found police and her mother crying.

He then grew worried he saw her friends crying they were sitting being bandaged up.

His heart clenched.

With a broken wing she carries her dreams

She keeps an eye on the sky

Darien Dryesdale stood there by a small tombstone.

Reading the name of the girl whom he had teased for so long.

He ignored the glares he got from her friends as he stood there.

With a broken wing she carries her dreams

Man you ought to see her fly

The tombstone read

Serena serenity Tuskino

A friend, a daughter,

An angle in disguise

May her broken wings be mended

End.

Please no flames! sniffles I made this in memory of my mother.

Karen Sue Cooley. And reminder all flames will be ignored.

Also if you can tell I do not like Darien much so you will not find him in many of my fan fictions.

Please review!
