The story of Ryst, the Elemental Fighter
Chapter 1

"This is not a good idea, it didn't work before why should it work now?"
"Just shut up and inject the serum in, I'll use the acnemonely spell too keep him alive"
"Fine but it's your turn too break the bad news this time"
The reptide mage injected the serum into Ryst's arm. Pain coursed through his body as the other wizard drew upon blue mana and cast his spell. The incantation was complicated and if accidentally said in the incorrect order the patient would either be missing a limb or have a limb that he really didn't want.
"maklemaro- semar- et" the mage suddenly stopped and said "Oops?"
The randomized spell shifted through the serum and the rest of Ryst's arm, it slowly demoralizing it. When the spell finally resolved his limb was missing, and some other poor creature got an extra human arm.
"Well! I'm glad that this was BOTH your fault AND you are going to tell the chief the result!"
" . Shut up"
As the two Magi left the room Ryst opened his eyes and reached for his swords. There were two problems that his brain told him about, 1. He didn't have his two swords with him and 2. He didn't have 2 arms to carry them. Then the pain hit him again as the serums affect continued to apply. The scrum is called sarlenses; on previous experiments it has temporarily given the owner animal characteristics like claws, sensitive hearing and multiple arms and legs.
As Ryst climbed out of the chair he started to stumble about the room. His mind had only a few things going threw it at that time, where his swords were and where was he. He didn't have much time to think about these because some very menacing and 'I REALLY do want to hurt you but I can't unless you attack me' on their face guards came in and half pushed and half dragged him to the chief magi's room.
The reptide is a secret facility where very few wizards are selected to come to work on things, and even less leave the premises. The only reasons why this facility exists is because they sell tortured victims that are capable of destruction to the pits, and the thirst for knowledge. The passion that drives wizard and witch alike, at least these wizards.
