The Christmas feast was coming to an end, and the new Headmaster was proudly walking up to the podium to make a speech, when a tall and slender Gryffindor girl revealed herself to the left of him, anxiously pulling his sleeve.
"Excuse me headmaster, but if it's not too much of a problem I would like to make an announcement!"
"Well…it's…it's not really…well alright then, but make it quick"
Lucy Weasley stepped up onto the podium, and turned her freckled face towards the students of Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. She then cleared her throat, while the people in the great hall eyed her suspiciously, clearly trying to make a dramatic gesture. The room had went silent and she opened her mouth to begin:
"Ladies and gentlemen it has come to my attention that a certain wizard, one James Sirius Potter…" all heads turned towards James "…recently lost his virginity in the hallway next to the defence against the dark arts classroom, the person last in possession of it was none other than Ravenclaw student Charlotte Mason…" said student's face was slowly turning into the shade of a tomato, as heads were turning her way "…now, him being my cousin and all I found it to be my responsibility to see that it is returned to him as soon as possible, seeing as his ego is going to drive our whole family crazy over the holiday…as if it isn't big enough as it is, now if you find it please do not hesitate to return it immediately to Mr. Potter, or if he should be unable to get into contact with at that moment, just look me up and I will make sure he gets it. Well that was all I guess, thank you for your time"
And with that, the redhead made her way down to the Gryffindor table.
That is why students are no longer allowed on the podium.
