Author's note: The drabble itself is precisely 100 words; ignore the word count. Again, I like Bella with curly hair versus straight.
Disclaimer: Kudos to JK Rowling for the world she created for us.
Twirl
[A drabble by Mesteria]
Black curls, wild and unruly. Pale arms, outstretched. White dress, soaked from the storm. A little girl twirling in circles under the gray sky.
This is the memory she keeps of her sister, when she misses her most, before the dark stole her sanity.
"The first spring storm," Bella would say, "washes away your sorrows."
So she steps out of the manor in her white sundress. The rain is already falling. She closes her eyes, tilts back her head, opens her arms wide and begins to spin.
She spins…
and spins…
and spins…
But the rain only hides her tears.
