Nick Jonas's POV

I watch her walk away from me... I can feel a growing pain in my heart as I continue on to watch her. I close my eyes to hope this is just a nightmare, that I'm going to wake up to one I love beside me.

My girl... My princess...

The sun beams through our bedroom window. I open my eyes to a gorgeous woman. Her long brunette hair spread out on her pillow as her beautiful face is facing me. I see a small content smile on her sweet plum lips as she sleeps peacefully. I watch her lovingly. I move a strand of hair out of her face. I slowly move my hand to trace down her jaw line. She leans in to my touch and smiles lightly.

I smile down at her. She moves closer to me. I wrap my arm around her as she moves her head to my chest, to where my heart is.

My heart that only beats for her.

My heart that she only has the power to break.

She place her left hand on my chest in front of her. She rubs her thump against my chest for comfort. I feel as she does that is reassurance that she's really there and that she equally feels the same for me. I rub my hand against her lower back. I start to drawing shapes and letters. I feel her smile against my chest. I close my eyes content to the girl in my arms.

I open my eyes again to see her disappearing into the dark. The growing pain in my heart is now overwhelming. She's gone.

I don't remember how we ended up like this. From the feeling of being on top of the world to feeling you just want to hide away in the dark forever.

I want her in my arms again. I want her to stay.

Forever.

I close my eyes again to open them to her in my arms again. She's looking up at me with a smile I love. I move closer to her oceanic eyes. She close the gap with her lips on mine.

Her sweet taste is unforgettable. She moves her hand from my chest to my jaw and soon it's in my short hair. I know she misses my curls that now I'm trying to grow out again. I mimic her hand using my right. I tangle my hand in her hair.

She smiles mischievously in the kiss. She pulls away an inch from my face as she moves her body to hover mine. I chuckle lightly. She kisses my cheek quickly then moves away. I hold on to her waist as she sits on top of me. Her smile is breath taking to me.

I don't want to close my eyes again long enough for me to lose her. I think she notice something in my eyes because she smile reassuringly and kisses me softly.

I close my eyes long enough again for it to disappear. I watch as she looks back at me with sadness clear in her oceanic eyes that seem darker today. I knew what I had to do.

I break from my stupidity and run after her. I stop her car door from opening and I pull her closer from her waist into my arms. She break down crying as she wraps her arms around my neck. She buries her face into the crook of my neck. I bury my face into her hair.

"I don't wanna love, If it's not you" I whisper into her ear. She hugs me tighter.

"Please... Stay" my voice oozing with desperation and a little panic.

"I will stay... Always stay" she whispers.

She pulls away and leans her forehead against mine.

"I love you my princess" I whisper closely against her lips.

"I love you too my prince charming"

She says before she pulls me into a kiss.

Yes, I decided Miley grows out her hair back to the long brunette hair she had before. Not because I don't love her hair now.

Anyway, This being my first one shot.
