The sun was sinking lower over the horizon, painting the sky blood red. Wan sighed, so much had happened and he was tired. So very tired, but he had to keep going, making sure the world was balanced was his task now; But not a burden he had to bear alone.

"The world is entering a new age, our time protecting mankind is over. We will no longer give humans the power of the elements."The Lion Turtle reached its huge paw out and touched the ground. Closing its great, amber eyes it muttered something quietly to itself. From beneath its claw it began to glow, a bright, silvery green. The glow spread out from its finger tips and ran through the landscape like veins.

It slowly opened its eyes; they were empty and shining with the same intense light. Everyone had backed away from the giant animal, even Wan. He had fought the most powerful spirit in existence and won. Nothing should scare him anymore, but the Lion Turtles were not respected by the spirits for nothing, it had powers that could easily destroy them all. Far away he could see pinpricks of light, other lion turtles.

Gradually the glow faded

"We have given the power of the elements to the world, scattered it to the wind. It is yours now, what will you make of it?" The Lion Turtle's voice was old and filled with the wisdom of a thousand years.

The crowd had surged forward again, but had now fallen silent. Wan bowed to it.

"Thank you Ancient One, we will not misuse this power."

Turning around he saw that others were doing the same

"Humans are mortal, they will make mistakes. It is their ability to learn from them that matters"

"The Lion Turtle is right you know" this time it was Raava that spoke to him

"Hmm, you have been touched by the light spirit, your energy is bonded together, you are one." The Lion Turtle blinked in disbelief. People everywhere turned to look at him.

"That...that's right" Wan stammered

The valley was bathed in warm light from the glorious sunset. He felt its power flow through him, giving him strength.

"Should we show them Raava?" He whispered to her

"Yes, it is important that they see the lengths we will go to restore balance." Her voice rung inside Wan's head. He felt his eyes glowing and himself rising on a funnel of air, silhouetted against the sun. Wan was barely conscious of what was happening, in the half awake world of light and shadow that was Raava's light spirit. Soon he felt his feet brushing against the ground and the power fade away.

The people in the crowd looked on in awe and respect.

"Raava has spoken" The Lion Turtles voice rang out over the murmurs of the crowd "you shall be her Avatar, the one to lead us into this new age, the one to give us hope."

And in his heart he knew it was true.
