On a cool fall day, Teto Kasane is kidnapped. Without a clear reason why, The Vocaloids are left wondering what do they want with everyone's favorite bread loving idol? Miku is on a quest to find out why, although, she might not be prepared for the answer... Reality is stranger than fiction.

Prolouge: Why Me?

Kidnapping.

It's a word you hear all the time on the news, ususally the case is some poor girl who is alone waiting for the bus when she is pulled into a car kicking and screaming. You think this would never happen to you, right? That's what I thought, I was wrong. Even though I am an idol so to speak, who would want a Utau, just a knockoff of the real thing. Little did I know, my kidnappers were watching my every move weeks in advance.

On this particular day, I was going to the bookstore with Rin to get the new Haruhi manga. In reality, I was dragged there, I'm not really much of a manga reader, I would have rather stayed home enjoying valuable Mikuo time. Maybe watch a scary movie marathon and cuddle. But, Rin wanted her best friend to go with her, I can't say no to that kid,maybe that was my first mistake.

So, to avoid overzealous otaku, I opted to stay outside and wait for her. I could faintly hear the screams of fangirls as she went inside. I sat down on a nearby bench and put my pink earbuds in. The familiar opening of "Headphone Actor" blared through my ears. I was in a state of bliss, feeling the cool fall breeze tickling my face, feet tapping to the beat of the music. I didn't hear the van pull up.

I could sense some behind me, before I could react or scream, a white cloth was placed over my mouth. Now, under normal circumstances, if anybody tried to touch me, I would kick him where the sun don't shine. But, my senses were leaving me fast, my Ipod clattered to the ground as the song switched. Ironically, it was my version of "Disapearance of Hatsune Miku" That is the last I remember before I blacked out completely. I was hauled into the back of a black van, the doors slammed shut.

The van sped away leaving a cloud of dust and a hyperventialing Rin in its wake.

Just like that, without any ryhme or reason, I was kidnapped.
