In New Beginnings
It was already dawn; he could feel the wind blow coldly over his shoulder. He had to admit, things were beginning to loosen up. He was already comfortable with his life, especially since the village's been at peace for two years now.
Hyuuga Neji walked away and went home. He was tired, Tsunade had given him way too much missions. Lee and Guy were always busy too, everyone was. He walked in, letting out a big sigh. The first thing that caught his attention was Naruto.
The blonde had been visiting them very often, mostly because of Hinata. The two of them began dating a few months ago, now he's always seeing her, much to the dismay of Hiashi-sama that is.
They were chatting rather cheerfully, getting all lovey-dovey and all. Neji groaned under his breath, walking away from them. He approved of their relationship, but he had to admit, he was jealous of them. After all, he had problems with a certain 'woman' of his.
He opened the door to his bedroom to find that woman. She was sleeping quietly on his bed, her hair now messed up and the twin buns gone. The only thing she had on was a buttoned shirt, which was clearly Neji's. It reached down to her knees and was light blue.
He walked towards his bed, sitting down comfortably while watching the woman sleep. He had placed his hand on her head, feeling the softness of her hair. He couldn't help but smile as well. He even had thought about how adorable he looked while asleep.
He had remembered the days when they were just teammates, going on missions and training together. Now was different though, even if Lee and their ever-enthusiastic teacher were still the same, he wasn't. At least, he thinks he isn't.
He had told the 'woman' about how he felt about her. Strangely enough, he'd even felt bored and sad whenever she wasn't around. He was glad she had felt the same as well. The two of them always got along, and she was the only female he'd feel comfortable talking to, she was the first and only woman he had ever loved.
If that wasn't enough, he had to get used to a certain child he had settled down with her.
Neji heard a small, squeaky voice. He had looked down to see the baby, crawling its way towards his father's leg. He was tugging it, as if telling the Almighty Hyuuga Neji to carry him. He'd had troubles with the baby, especially its loud cries.
He had picked him up, looking at him in the eyes. He had his eyes alright, no wonder. He was a Hyuuga after all. But he had his mother's messy brown hair and cheeky smile. Neji had put him on the bed, beside his woman. He seemed pleased with his father though, grabbing his hands and laughing.
He had smiled at his own son's laughter. He didn't know why, he just felt happy. It wasn't long before the mother had woken up too.
"Neji? Tatsuki?" Tenten whispered, rubbing her eyes as she sat on the bed. Little Tatsuki was crawling fast to his mother, giving her a tight hug. Tenten had grabbed him in her arms as well, yawning. Her eyes shifted towards none other than her husband. "You seem happy." She said, poking his cheek. As she predicted, all she got in return from him was his infamous grunt.
She had leaned in over to him, giving him a peck. "You do know we have to move out of here sooner or later." He had said, but it didn't mean much to her. "That's fine. Hiashi's already dealing with Naruto. It's like a new beginning too, don't you think so, Neji?"
"Yeah, I do think so as well."
