This is my first fanfic so I don't know how good it will be. I just wrote this because it's something that I could see both of the characters doing or at least something that I hope they would do:)

Sonny's POV

I was just another day. I was walking to the prop house. I turned a corner and bumped into someone. The next thing I remember was a cold smoothie splattered on my shirt. I looked up and saw Chad Dylan Cooper with a shocked face. Wow! Is it possible that he might actually care that he just ruined one of my favorite shirts?

"Oh My Gosh!" he exclaimed.

He did care. I wondered if he was feeling ok.

"You ruined my smoothie!" he said.

Yep, I spoke too soon.

" Really Chad? Really? Is that really what you worried about. This happened to be one of my favorite shirts and you care about your Strawberry Banana smoothie?"

" Absolutely. Now I have to walk all the way over the arcade and get a new one."

"It's amazing," I said.

"Many things about me are amazing but would you mind filling me in on what this particular thing is?" he said."

"Just when I think you can't get any more shallow and self- centered, you surprise me by doing so," I said.

Meanwhile, as I was telling him this all he did was stare blankly into the distance with his sparkly beautiful blue eyes. Wait, what? Did I just think that? I must be distracted by the freezing cold liquid drenching my shirt.

"It's one my Chad-tastic qualities to always surprise other people," he said with a small smirk crossing his face.

"Whatever Chad. I have to go. I don't want to deal with two things I don't really enjoy right now: Smoothie on my clothing and you when you're having one of your many egotistical moments."

He snickered and gave me another smirk. I stormed off.

A Couple hours later: (Still Sonny's POV)

I was sitting in my dressing room. All of a sudden a heard a knock on the door. I walked over but when I opened it up there was nobody there. I saw a small box laying on the ground. Inside there was a letter. It said:

Dear Sonny,

I'm sorry. I was a jerk earlier and I wanted to apologize. I didn't mean to make it sound like the smoothie was more important than you because it isn't true. I hope you can forgive me. In the box is a gift card to the mall. I hope you can find a shirt that looks even better on you than the other probably won't be hard because you always look good:)

Love, the Greatest Actor of our Generation, CDC

What?! Did that say LOVE? I was a little in shock. I mean I had always kind of liked Chad but I didn't think that he felt anything towards me. I looked inside of box and found a $200 gift card. I was going to have a lot of fun.

While I was shopping, I couldn't seem to get that four lettered word out of my head. I did my best to forget about it.

Next Day (Sonny's POV)

I was wearing my new shirt the next day. I walked into the cafeteria and Chad saw me. He came walking towards me.

"You don't look half bad, Monroe," he said quietly.

"Thanks. I got a little help from someone who happens to look pretty good themselves," I said.

He smiled while looking at me with his dark blue eyes. It wasn't just a smirk though. I was a smile that gave me butterflies. Who knows? Maybe bumping into Chad Dylan Cooper was one the best things I've done since I have gotten to So Random.
