Fred lounged on the common room couch, shooting red sparks out of his wand to pass the time. George said he had something to bring down from the dorm and Fred was waiting before they would head down to breakfast together

"What are you still doing here? Usually you get down early and hog all the grape jelly," Ron said with a frown as he and his friends came towards him.

"If you must know, I'm waiting for George," he said with a wide grin. He sent Hermione a wink, causing her to blush, and noticed Ron's frown deepen. Most interesting.

"Where is George?" Hermione asked as she looked around the room for the missing twin.

"Here I am!" a loud voice boomed from the boys' dorms' stairs. An identical boy to the one on the couch bounded down the stairs and stood among the small group. "What'd I miss?"

The trio greeted the newcomer amicably but Fred narrowed his eyes.

He interrupted their chatter and said, "You're not George."

The tall redhead looked towards Fred. "Of course I'm George. Don't you know your own twin?"

Fred grinned and then shook his head. "You're not George. You're me."

The trio looked between the pair. Harry asked, "How can you tell? You look exactly alike."

Fred rose from the couch and said, "Exactly. We look exactly alike."

The trio looked between them. "Am I missing something here?" Ron muttered.

Fred walked up to 'George' and said, "You have a dimple on your right cheek, like I do. The real George has one on his left. And you're missing the scar behind your ear that George got when we fell from the apple orchard when we were six."

"And you have the same network of freckles in the shape of the big dipper on your cheek and George shouldn't," Hermione spoke up. Everyone looked at her and she blushed. "I noticed," she muttered.

"Yes, that." He turned back to his doppleganger. "This is a very interesting prank, George. You're you and you're me but not me. Brilliant. But we're already twins so it's kind of old, don't you think."

"Morning, everyone," Another voice called out as a redhead walked to them.

Everyone's jaw dropped as they were now face to face with another Weasley twin. Fred looked upon his own face and the newcomer. He turned to the trio, "Is this what it looks like to you guys?"

They nodded dumbly before looking between the three twins. "So who's the real Fred and the real George?" Ron asked.

"I am!" they all said in unison.

The three twins started to grumble before the second twin started to scream. Everyone jumped back as he clutched his face in pain. Slowly, he shrank in height and width, his pasty white skin turned dark and his red hair elongated and turned into long black, thin locks. Soon a grinning Lee Jordan stood before them in George's bigger uniform beside an equally grinning George.

Fred's jaw dropped open as he stared between his two best friends who were doubled over in laughter. George and Lee shoved Fred back onto the couch and screamed, "Gotcha!" before hurrying away from the stunned redhead.
