Ichigo had never made pancakes before. She never had the opportunity to create them and she lacked the knowledge, so she asked Makoto for help one night in the school's kitchen.
"You don't know how to make pancakes?" He asked, holding back his laughter.
"I've never tried making them before, okay?"
He placed his tempering tools down and grabbed a bowl and a whisk, handing them to her immediately. "Grab some eggs and flour."
He led her through it, step by step, teaching her how to create the basic breakfast food. She messed up the first few times by adding too much water or not mixing the batter enough, but he showed her repeatedly until she figured out how to perfect the simple recipe. She even added her own touch by adding chunks of strawberries to it.
"This tastes pretty good, Amano." He admitted, taking another bite of her most recent batch.
"Thanks!"
Makoto didn't understand why he stayed up all night to help Ichigo learn such a simple recipe, but one thing's for certain. Pancakes were definitely his favourite dessert.
