This Saturday
Arthur ripped the weathered poster from where it was tacked onto the wall outside of the local pub, his green eyes narrowing and his thick eyebrows furrowing as he scanned over the bold, printed words. He harshly crumpled the paper into a ball and shoved it far into the depths his coat pocket before continuing on his way home. The Englishman hunched his shoulders forward to try and keep himself warm in the cold December air, but to no prevail. The wind simply sliced through the thin, black material of his overcoat and shirt and seeped into his skin, chilling him to the bone. It was all those stupid Jones' fault he lived like this: starving and empty-handed. As if it wasn't hard enough to have the occupation of an entrepreneur/magician. The stupid family of traveling American performers had leaked every penny out of his family, stealing their magic tricks over the years and robbing them of their audiences whenever they were in town. A sneer slowly crossed his face as he thought over the words on the now scrunched-up paper in his pocket in his head. The show was this Saturday, eh? Arthur recalled his mental calendar for the week and tried to remember any important events he had going on. As far as he was concerned, the only thing on his schedule was a job interview or two, which he most likely wouldn't get, anyways. He might as well go and see just who exactly he would be competing with in the future, and possibly learn a few of their tricks in the process.
"See you Saturday, you dirty Joneses," he hissed quietly under his breath, his words making the frigid air fog around his mouth, although the vapor disappeared as quickly as it had appeared.

Just some random idea I had a while back when I was watching a movie about magicians and stuff like that. It was actually my second Hetalia fanfiction idea if I'm not mistaken, haha! I just felt like naming it after one of my favourite songs, it has nothing to do with it though. I don't have much of it planned, only the super basic plot line and the ending, so it'll be as much of a surprise for me as it will for anyone reading it~! :P It will definitely be eventual USUK, and I might include a few more of my OTP's along the way because hey, it's my fanfiction and I will do whatever I want to with it!
