Prologue
The wind whistled around me as I looked straight ahead, the blood staining the ground red. I couldn't tear my eyes away from that scene of horror. His body lay broken on the floor and standing above him was a man, his eyes blazing with anger and grief. My closest friend, the only one I could talk to in my times of need. He stood there, surrounded by moonlight, with the corpse of a once loved man crumpled at his feet.
