Persephone walked in her mother's garden, running and skipping down the meadows. To say her mothers's garden was stunning is an understatement. Tall thick trees upon a luscious green carpet of grass, beautiful and exotic flowers bloomed; their incredible aroma making her dizzy with joy. She took of her shoes and ran in the meadow, spinning, laughing and giggling.
She spotted a flower, the most exotic flower she had ever seen! It was a blood red flower with golden trims, it stemen was gold and the sunlight danced upon the flower. With a realisation she gasped to see the Amor Rosa. The rose made of the blood of two lovers formed into a flower, kissed by Aphrodite and it is being nurtured by Demeter.
She traced her finger against the soft petal of the flower and smiled at the velvety texture underneath her fingers. She stared at it and then turned to see the flower next to the elegant red flower. It too was elegant and the exact replica of the first one but it was the colour of a majestic royal blue with silver trims and stamen. It was gorgeous.
She plucked it and took a wiff of it's soft and ever so sweet scent as a smile graced her featured. The magnificent blue rose shimmered in her grasp and the soft glow it was illuminating dazzaled her.
But then, the ground began to tremble as she fell backwards as a crevice opened in the ground and skeletal horses burst out of the ground with shadows dancing around them. The horses pulled a chariot made up of Stygian iron that looked amazing and yet so horrifying. The man handling the reins grabbed her and pulled her on his chariot and grabbed her, taking her to the crevice in the ground. She struggled to escape his grip but it was so tight.
Out of desperation she cried for help "Mother! Mother! Help! Apollo! Hermes! Zeus! Jasmine! Help"
She screamed herself horse and soon they were plunged in darkness as they fell deeper into the pit as it closed behind her...
