As he entered the door he spotted her beside the kitchen counter. He went to where she was putting away plates and turned her around to her complete surprise. He lowered his lips and kissed her with all the passion that was inside him, hidden for so long from the rays of sunshine. She kissed him back with the same passion that she long denied.
They were interrupted by the entrance of jimmy into the apartment.
"Jimmy" Chloe whispered. All Oliver could do was try not to grin and bare.
Oliver left the apartment after a few seconds. He took the stairs but didn't stop at the street. He turned around and looked up at the windows of the apartment as he looked up he felt he was going down going down into an abyss of despair. The one woman he loved was with another man he was sure she did not love.
That Same Night
Oliver was sprawled out on the couch when he heard a silent knock. When he opened the door Chloe just looked at him and let herself in. She sat on the couch in front of the tv waiting for him to come sit next to her. As he sat down she layed her head on his lap. It was nearly four in the morning when he looked down at her peacefully sleeping. He took her in his arms and carried her to his room where he layed her down in the bed and slipped into bed beside her. He layed his arm around he waist.
"I hope you know I can't let go, I can't get out." He whispered to her sleeping form in his arms.
"I chose you Oliver." She opened her eye's and turned to face him.
