Sara sat in the hospital room with her son, her newborn son.

Her husband was not there and when Sara looked at the picture of him sitting on the table next to the bed and looked at her son, she seen the resemblance.
She cried.

It was a cold night and Nick took Sara out on their fourth anniversary and she still remembers him telling her how much he loved her.

When Nick and Sara pulled up the driveway to their home they never knew Sara's ex boyfriend Hank was hiding in their home to seek revenge.

hSara remembers walking in the home they shared hand in hand when she told him she had to visit the bathroom and when she came out she had to tell him something exciting. She left him in the living room and she never expected Hank to come from behind the bathroom door with a gun. Once Sara seen the gun she ran from him to find Nick but when she came to the living room he was not in there and when she heard Hank tell her not to move or he would shoot her she listened. Nick came in the room not expecting to have a gun pointed at him. Hank turned the gun back on Sara and said, "you bitch! You picked him over me!"
Nick seen Hank move his finger to the trigger so he ran and pushed Sara out of the way.
Sara's ears rang then she heard two more shots. When Sara looked up she seen Hank laying on the floor lifeless she knew that Nick wrestled over the gun with Hank but Hank only had one gun shot wound in his chest where were the other two.
Sara looked at Nick and screamed. He was standing holding his side and his shirt was covered with blood. Then he spoke his last words "I love you Sar..." he was unable to finish, he fell to the floor lifeless.

Sara cried as she watched her son sleep in her arms wishing Nick could be there, Sara wished he known he did not save one life but two lives.
Sara looked at her son and Said "I love you Nick."

We'll stay forever this way

You are safe in my heart

And my heart will go on and on
