A/n: I don't like typing on my big computer, but I would really like to start updating again, so. . . Here I am! And I'm typing! On the big computer! i really hope you like this chapter, it's one I started on my iPod, but never finished.
Disclaimer: I do not own the wonderful series of Skulduggery Pleasant, I don't even own the first three books out in America. Which is very sad. . .
Stupid. Why did he even consider leaving me here with Fletcher? He annoys me to no end. . . And he practically destroyed the kitchen!
"Hey, Valkyrie!"
"What?" I grumbled, I know he wasn't stupid enough to try and-
And then he kissed.
I pulled my fist back and flung it forward, catching him in the nose. His hand flew up to his nose and he screamed.
"I think you broke my nose! My beautiful, beautiful nose! Its going to be crooked now!"
I rolled my eyes and sat back down, waiting for Skulduggery to come back. I looked at the clock on the wall and frowned, He said he would be back in less then an hour, and even though it had only been twenty minutes, I didn't want to be here any longer with Fletcher.
I grabbed the remote and turned the t.v. off, I quickly got up and bounded up the stairs, leaving Fletcher and his bleeding nose.
The first place I went is to Uncle Gordan's study, Where I usually read his unfinished manuscripts of books that he never got published before he was killed. I sat down in his chair, the one that I never really wanted to get rid off. First, because I didn't want to move anything in the room. Second, because even though everything in the house was technically his, I couldn't stand getting rid of this chair, which was the last thing he touched.
I got up slowly, and looked at the bookshelf. I walked over to it, Looking at the books that he had written, I carefully found the one I was looking for, and pulled it out, the bookshelf slid back.
I looked inside the room, it had a table and a chair. The red light of the Chrystal shone on the table, and my uncle Gordan was sitting in one of the chairs that I had placed in there.
"Valkyrie!" He smiled, then I heard a crash downstairs. "Um, what was that?" He asked.
"Fletcher being a dumb ass."
"Language Stephanie!"
I rolled my eyes, I don't think he ever remembered that my name was now Valkyrie Cain.
"I haven't seen you in a long time! You shouldn't just come here and never see me."
"I've been busy." I told him.
" Your always busy."
"Yeah, that's because dumb ass down there thinks he can do everything-" another crash sounded from down stairs. "FLETCHER!"
A/n: I know it's short, but I have to start getting ready soon and I don't want to not update today, so I'm just going to make the next chapter veeeeeeeery long. Thanks for reading! :P
