A/N: So. I dunno if anyone else was as happy for Mako/Korra as I was...
But I was so dang happy.
So I put my happiness to work. :)

Mako POV
"I love you, Korra." I murmured, looking at her.
She didn't look as happy as I was. Which was understandable... She just lost her bending.
But I said that I loved her!
Hadn't she been waiting...?
"I-I can't.." Korra cried, looking panicked. She turned from me and raced towards Naga.
"Korra, wait!"
She didn't listen to me, of course.
Naga was bounding away from the house, far away into the snow.
"You need to have patience. It'll take time for her to come to cope with this." Tenzin murmured. He had apparently seen all of that. Great. He didn't say anything else before returning inside, leaving me to have a little bit to myself.
How could I be so stupid?
Korra just lost her freaking bending, and I popped out that I was choosing her? I mean, sure, let's just do that all at once, she won't freak out!
Right.
I sighed, and started to turn back to the house. Only to see that Bolin had followed me outside.
"Great. I suppose you saw all of that, too?" I muttered, feeling dejected.
Bolin just stared at me. "Seriously, bro?" he demanded. "You're just going to let her run from you like that?"
"Well I can't just-"
"She needs you!" Bolin hit my shoulder. "I went through heartbreak, just to see you not get together? That isn't happening, bro!"
"She'll just get even more pissed at me-"
"Mako." Bolin gave me a look. "Go get her." Then he smiled at me. "She'll want you there."
I looked at him, and then I nodded. I turned, and began racing behind Naga's paw prints. I was going to find her.
There wasn't a way I would let Bolin down.
And there was no way I would ever leave Korra again.
"Korra!" I yelled, hoping maybe she would hear me. I heard no answer.
So I kept running.
Finally, I came to where Naga was sitting. "Naga, where's Korra?" I murmured to the polar bear dog. Naga lifted her head and pointed her snout.
And I saw her.
Korra was spinning in midair, surrounded by a tornado of air. Her eyes were glowing.
Had she...?
She began to bend the elements, starting with air, then fire, then earth, and then a great wave of water slammed up against the cliff.
Korra had connected with the other Avatars!
I grinned, and Korra began to gently float back down.
Then she turned to me.
And she started running to me.
I held out my arms, and swung her around as soon as I felt her in them. Finally.
I gently set her back on her two feet, and she looked up at me. Her hands were in my hair, and she quietly whispered, "I love you too."
Then she kissed me.
