Authors Note: Finished my Pein x Konan vid earlier and now I'm back to writing.:3.
Warning: Abuse, Mentions of past abuse, Violence, Edited language via Hidan, Maybe a SasoDei lemon later on. I dunno.
Genres: Modern day highschool AU.

Pein kept re-reading the letter the youngest member left, stuck between emotions at the moment. They had been trying to protect the blue eyed teen from his very estranged father. And now the boy had apparentally taken matters into his own hands trying to protect them.
"I still can't believe he pulled a stunt like this." A blue haired girl spoke while glancing down at the floor and rubbing her left arm.
There was a heavy silence in the room. Mixed emotions could be felt off the others. "Shouldn't we be looking for him all f*cking ready instead of letting him go play f*cking martyr?" Hidan, a teen with odd white-silver hair spoke. He was stuck between anger and confusion. The blond was one of his closest friends in the Akatsuki, aside from Kakuzu and Kisame.
"We don't even know where they are supposed to meet. Right now they best we can do is review what we know and go from there." Pein crossed his arms and kept a blank face, not one without complete emotion but he was the leader and had to keep cool. It was eating him inside though since the Akatsuki had become a make-shift family of sorts over time and personally he did not approve of people harming his family.
He looked over at the scowling red head who was eying the floor with a deathgaze. "Sasori, are you sure he didn't give you any kind of hint or clue?" For a moment he wondered if since the were family then what Sasori and Deidara had would be considered incest?
"Not a damn thing. Even the gps in his phone was a dead end." He cursed his younger lover. He purposely left his phone on the kitchen so they couldn't track him.
"Then we go over what we know and hopefully find a lead there." Again, he'd rather be out searching but he knew that would possibly get them hurt or killed if his father was really did know about them. Pein eyed the silent group and heard Konan start walking towards the kitchen. "I'll get the coffee." She said quietly, needing a distraction of sorts.
The others followed not uttering a word.
Authors Note:
The rest of the story up until they've caught up is them reviewing what they know about Deidara since meeting him a year ago.
So end prologue.X3.

Chapter two should be up sometime next week, My NaNoWriMo word count is almost depressing. I'm struggling to catch up with it as is.
On a cheerful note, today is our oldest dogs (Harley), birthday. She's 4.=3.
