What would you think if I told you that slug-like aliens known as Yeerks have invaded Earth and are slowly taking over the world? That Earth's only hope for survival is six, foolish teenagers with a death wish who also have the power to turn into any animal they touch? That the only reason why… You're already dialling the guys in white coats aren't you? I don't blame you, I would think I'm nuts too if I heard this a couple of days ago. Believe me though. This is real.
I want to tell you more, but I would only be endangering myself, my friends, my family and you even more. So I won't give you my whole name or where I live and I won't give you information that could endanger me and my friends or information of where the Yeerks are so you won't get the idea to play hero.
Trust me, we already have enough of those and each one is more crazy and foolish than the last. Besides, a hero doesn't live long, especially in a war. It's a miracle that we're able to see the sun rise again.
Like I said, six foolish teenagers against an army. The odds are not in our favour, especially when you put in the fact that you can't trust anyone, that the person next to you could be a Controller. Unable to tell anyone of what's happening, you can understand why it's only six kids fighting.
Even if we did find one person that isn't infested, they'll just call the white coats or makes us see a shrink and I can see how that'll work out. Go to a shrink come out with a Yeerk. Talk about an instant change in mindset.
Now, only able to trust the other five and our new intergalactic friend, I move forward towards the fray. Don't look at me like that, I already told you. Six, foolish teens with a death wish and I stand by it.
My name is Rocky and today I fight! After all, the others are going to need a babysitter.
AN: One more one shot to go, how do you guys feel about that? Anyway to those who have no idea what I'm talking about here's the 411. This one shot connects to the animorph/kickin it multi crossover story I'm working on called Today We Fight. At the moment there's only a prologue but chapter one will be out, which this one shot and all the others tells you, on the 5/4. This is the 4th animorph diary, the first three you can find in Supah ninjas/animorph, Wizards of Waverly place/animorphs and Falling Skies/Animorphs or you can go with the easy way and just check out my profile page. They're all there.
Rocky is the nurturer, often giving the team advice, help take care of them when they have a problem or just ensuring they get to school on time. She doesn't fight much, fighting and war isn't her things but that doesn't mean she just going to lie down while an alien race enslave her friends and family, especially if they start pointing their Dracon Beam at them. She will drop her more gentle, loving persona and pull out her claws and you don't want to go a round with her.
The next and last Diary will be up on the 28th under Kickin it/Animorphs, that right, I'm bringing it all home. If you have any questions please ask away and I'll get back to you to the next Today We Fight related story, but do keep in mind you may ask a question that I can't answer yet.
