"Loki! Get out of that bathroom and let's go." shouted Steve while he stroke his well trimmed brown hair in front of the hanging mirror. He fixed his collar and smoothed out his silver tie and took a glance at the bathroom door, waiting for Loki to come out.
After a minute, Loki got out of the bathroom with his beautiful black hair slicked back as usual and his green eyes sparkling like newly polished jewels. He wore a black tuxedo with a matching moss green tie that he never used. He brushed off some dirt from his pants and murmured, "Ehem."
Steve turned his head and saw Loki smiling at him, Steve's mouth dropped with admiration. He shook his head and wet his lips. He said while looking at Loki from head to toe, "You look more gorgeous than usual."
"You told me to look fancy, so here you go." Loki replied while he walked towards Steve.
Steve held Loki's neck with his right hand and leaned towards Loki's face when Loki decided to walk forward and say, "So where are we headed?" while leaving Steve kissing the air.
"Now you play hard to get" Steve teased while following Loki outside the door. "No Cap, the god of mischief is just hungry." replied Loki while he opened the car door and sat on the passenger's seat. Steve did the same but on the driver's seat of course.
"Steve, where are we going again? And why?" asked Loki while staring at Steve's hands, manipulating the wheel. He was fascinated by the machine, Loki thought, just like a horse but bigger and faster.
"Loki, you will never understand the meaning of surprise, will you?" Steve replied while he parked in front of the restaurant and opened the door locks.
Loki began to read the sign on the restaurant while getting out of the car, "One if by land, two if by sea."
"They say it's the best romantic restaurant in New York, what if we give it a try." Steve said while wrapping his arm around Loki's waist.
They entered the restaurant and had the best looking table with all sort of flowers and a lighted candle. It seemed like it was planned. They ordered their meal and after they finished eating, Steve stood up and went near a guy holding a guitar from the other table and asked him if he could borrow it. Steve placed the strap of the guitar around him and strummed the guitar in front of Loki.
As he did, all the people looked towards them and Loki blushed. "What are you doing Steve, they're all looking at us." Loki said. "Yes they are." said Steve while he continued to strum.
He started singing, "When I look into your eyes. It's like watching the night sky." Steve's voice was very horrible but full of passion. And when he reached the chorus all the people inside the restaurant sang with him, "I won't give up on us, even the skies get rough. I'm giving you all my love."
As the people continued singing, two men from Steve's back opened a large piece of paper that said, "Will you be my boyfriend?"
Loki chuckled and looked at Steve who had a large grin in his face.
Loki kept silent for a moment and shouted, "Yes, bastard."
Everybody cheered and applauded. It was like they've just seen an exhilarating circus trick. Steve grabbed Loki's hand and pulled him up. They were face to face and within a glimpse their lips met. Loki pulled away and Steve looked at him with his gorgeous blue eyes getting teary. Loki held Steve's neck and rubbed his thumb on his face while he said, "I could hold you forever, darling." Both of them laughed while their faces were right in front of each other.
Steve added, "And don't forget lovebug. My heart is, and always will be, yours."
