I do NOT own Ben 10, only Autumn, Tyler, Taylor, Marco, and Ake. Also, thank you whoever invented grilled cheese sandwiches, yum!

Tyler flipped the grilled cheese sandwiches on the stove and turned back to Marco, who was at the counter drawing. Marco had his little stuffed cat with him, having named it Fluff Waffle, and keeping with him at all times.

The little boy was looking much healthier then he had been a week ago when he first arrived, but Autumn was worried that he wasn't feeling as loved as everyone wanted him to.

Marco looked out the window. "Tyler, why do you guys keep secrets from me?"

Tyler put the sandwiches on plates and gave one to Marco. "What do you mean?"

"I can just tell that you guys are keeping something from me. And it doesn't feel like your faces are real."

"How so?"

"I don't know, it just...feels like you guys are wearing masks."

Tyler smiled gently, "I understand. I'll talk to you about it some more later, okay? For now, let's just finish lunch."

Marco nodded, finishing his grilled cheese and going into the backyard to play with Mina's cat, Darling.

Tyler was watching him through the window when Autumn came in. His little sister wrapped her arm around him and rested her head on his shoulder. "What is it, hermano?"

"Marco knows that we wear masks. Or, he's guessed about it at least."

"What do you think we should do?"

"I was going to ask you that, you've bonded with him a bit more then any of us."

She looked thoughtful. "Hmm. Well, maybe we should just tell him. We can't build trust on lies, and we knew we'd have to show him at some point."

Tyler nodded. "Okay. I'll let the others know."

Marco sat beside Autumn, clinging to the older girl in the presence of every household member. Autumn stroked his head as she talked. "Marco, you've been noticing how we aren't showing you something, right?"

He nodded.

"Well, we've talked, and we decided to show you our real faces." And then Autumn took off her I.D. mask, followed by everyone else.

Marco blinked, scared, and he shook. "Wh-what a-are you guys?"

"We're aliens. Well, some of us are only part alien, which is why Ake only has the wings of a necrofriggian, but everyone else is pretty much a full alien. Marco, you okay?" Autumn rubbed his back, curling her tail around him gently.

Marco curled into her side, crying. Ake moved over so he could rub the little boy's back, and everyone talked to him in soft, sweet voices. After Marco calmed down, he started to ask questions. "Aliens don't eat people, right?"

"Of course not." Taylor told him. "There are some aliens out there that don't like humans, but that's just the same as the fact that there are some humans out there that don't accept us as aliens."

"But there are some humans who just don't like anyone. Like the bullies in schools."

Tyler sighed. "Yeah. We all have to deal with our own bullies, in a way, even after school. But we all support each other, and that gives us strength."

Marco sat up straight. "Autumn, remember our deal? The one where I wait a month and decide whether or not I want to stay here? Well, I've made a choice-I want to stay here."

Autumn hugged him, feeling everyone else turn it into a group hug. "Welcome to the family, little hermano."
