Chapter One

Danielle stood at the door, debating. It wasn't too late, she could just tell him she changed her mind. She pushed her oversized sunglasses on top of her head, and took a deep breath. She knocked twice, and waited. This is going to be better… after sixteen years you finally got away. You're not going back, you can move on now. She was startled when a guy about her age answered the door, "Hi, I'm Dani Scott. Is Dan home?"

30 Minutes Prior…

"Hey Nate, we need to talk," Dan called at his son. This was not going to be a fun discussion. He had just found out about Lucas, and now there is Danielle. He could already see how his sixteen year old son would react, with anger. "Nate?"

"What dad?" Nathan answered him, annoyed. He put down the game controller and turned to look at his dad who was standing in the doorway. "What do you want?"

Anger already.. great. "Nate, I have to tell you something," Dan began. Dan stood up and walked toward him, how could he tell him? "Nate.." He put a hand on his shoulder, "There is something else.. She is coming here. Today."

Nathan spun around to face him, "SHE IS COMING HERE?!" He walked toward his dad, trying to restrain himself, "First Lucas, now this… her.. . What is she going to live with us? Me, you, and Mom?"

"Actually, yes. She is going to live here." Dan backed up a bit.

"Are you SERIOUS?!" Nathan stormed out of his room and toward the stairs, "One's a choice, two's a mistake, but three?? That's just STUPID!" He ran down the stairs to the door. He opened it to leave, and the infront of him stood a blonde haired, blue eyed girl. He stared for a moment in disbelief, then she spoke, "Hi, I'm Dani Scott. Is Dan home?" Her.
