Lloyd's POV:
It's been years since I banished my father to the Cursed Realm. I still felt depressed about it. I stared out at the horizon from the deck of the Bounty, which was parked at the old monastery, and sighed softly.
Garmadon's POV:
I don't know what the heck happened, but I found myself back at the Dark Island. Somehow, I managed to escape the Preeminent. Now I needed to go and find Lloyd and everyone else. I summoned my purple and gold elemental dragon and started off.
Lloyd's POV:
I'm still sitting on the railing of the Bounty, when Kai comes over.
"You still miss him?" he asked.
"Yeah. He was more than just a guardian to me. He was my best friend. I just wish that, well, there was another way for the generals to come back, without my father leaving me entirely."
I just couldn't take it anymore. I collapsed into Kai's arms and cried.
Garmadon's POV:
I reached Stiix, and stopped to take a break. I went to the docks and thought about Lloyd for a while. That's when I realized I need to find him. I managed to quickly pinpoint the location of the ninjas and realized that they were at the old monastery. I summoned my dragon and flew off.
No POV:
Hours pass and Garmadon reaches the Bounty. At that point, the ninjas had already went into their room for the night. Lloyd is still at the front of the ship.
Garmadon's POV:
I boarded the ship and saw Lloyd staring out into the sky. I took in a deep breath and approached him slowly.
"Lloyd, Son, it's me."
Lloyd's POV:
"Lloyd, Son, it's me."
This can't be happening! I can't believe it's him! Dad! I collapsed in his arms, embracing him tightly, sobbing. I was filled overwhelmingly with joy and happiness. It was too much for me to process all at once. There wasn't any words, and there didn't need to be. My father was here now and it was all that mattered.
"Lloyd! I missed you!"
"Father!" I cried. "I never thought I'd see you again!" I came to my senses, finally stating,"After Nya sunk the Preeminent, I didn't think you'd survive. I assumed you were gone forever."
"I broke through the chains with my elemental powers and managed to escape. Son, I missed you dearly. But I'm here now."
"I missed you so much." I said softly. I felt really tired.
"Me too." he said back. "Let's go to sleep."
My father carried me into bed and watched me fall asleep.
"Goodnight Lloyd. I love you. So much."
