The Avion Shuttle series was a "Cursed" one, Avion 1 was the shuttlefirst to land on the Mün, but the "Curse"began after Avion 1 was decommissioned and sent to a museum. Avion 2 rolled it's way to the runway using its O.M.T (Orbital maneuvering
Thrusters) to push its way to the runway after it landed a mile away, it was destroyed when Avion 2's Mechjeb unit malfunctioned and crashed during reentry, causing the Shuttle to spiral out of control and over heat.
Avion 3 blew up as soon as the KSC got it on the launch pad, due to an electrical failure that ignited one of the fuel tanks. Then Avion 4 was caught in the explosion of theVAB after another fuel tank explosion, soon after the destruction of Avion
/4, the KSC decommissioned the Avion series.
About a decade later, the KSC wanted to go further than their Galaxy and theMilky Way Galaxy, they quickly found a new planet to explore, they called it PF-515...
It was time for the Avion series to be reborn...,
