Once Upon a Knight's Dream
It was dawn. The Moon shone from miles above, hiding in the skies. They galloped heavily through the village. Storming through all the houses... Not a minute later... a war had begun...
...: Missy! Leave them!
Missy: I'm not leaving them! Please Padre, let me send down the river...
Padre: ... Hurry Missy, we don't have much time! They're raging through the village, I'll try back them off so you can flee.
Missy: I'm not leaving without you!
Padre: But you're not going to let Sunny and Rain die now are you? They have a future ahead of them and you know it. Go...
Missy: ... I'm coming back, don't you dare die! Promise?
Missy's eyes began to water, as she ran and grabbed Padre's hands. Clenching tightly... Staring deeply into his eyes; she ran. Grabbing a woven basket and leaving through the back door.
Padre: I Promise...
Padre smiles as his tears start to flood. He grabs his sword and slips on his heavy chainmail. As he prepares himself, he walks towards the front door and grips firmly to the door knob. At his own signal; he draws his sword and with just a swing... The door smashes into bits with blood flowing through like a river. The man lies dead by the door, being crumpled by the uproarious war. Padre walks into a crowd; taking on many yet not a scratch in sight.
Missy ran into the nearby woods. Dodging every obstacle with great speed that cannot be seen by a naked eye; her stubbornness leaves her tumbling into the river.
Missy: I- I've made it. Sunny... Rain... I leave the rest with you. Also, I leave these necklaces with you. Never take them off ok? Mother wishes she can stay with you but Father needs me more right now so one day... I will reunite with you... Good bye my Darlings... I love you...
Missy wraps Sunny and Rain in a warm blanket. Tightly together, she sends them down the river in a basket. Water rains down her face as she ran back through the woods. She equips her sword and starts to cast spells. Witchcraft is banned in the village but what if it's used to save the village? The Village had won because of Missy's witchcraft but... After the war had ended, Missy was put into the dungeons for witchcraft. Padre was also put into the dungeons for helping Missy hide her spells...
As for the twins... Well you're going have to wait for that. Sorry but School is a pain so I don't have much time... Uh I'll try having it done by next week... This is my first story so please comment and if you can, please write improvements that I can work on... Thanks for reading...
