Hello! This is my first fic! Feel free to write criticism!

The Doctor looked behind him for one last glimpse of the Leisure Palace. He frowned. Jethro Cane was standing apart from his arguing parents, staring up at the x-tonic sun through the glass.

"Oi," The Doctor turned to see Donna standing at the entrance to the TARDIS, "You coming?"

"I'll catch up." The Doctor found himself saying.

Donna's gaze drifted to the boy's outline before nodding and entering the blue box.

The Doctor went to stand next to Jethro looking at the x-tonic sun as well. The teenager gave indication of acknowledgement. They stood there for a while in comfortable silence.

"I'm sorry."

The Doctor glanced to his right in time to see Jethro's lips moving.

"I should have stopped them from throwing you out."

The Doctor blinked at his confession. Not one of the people he had travelled with on the tour had said any form of apology. Jethro was the first.

"What could you have done?" The Doctor reasoned, "You're young, they wouldn't have listened."

The Doctor felt himself stiffen as Jethro turned to look him dead in the eyes. The boy's blue eyes was older than they should have been. They looked so different on his young face. They were also filled with tears.

"I'm so much older than all of you." He whispered.

The Doctor huffed with laughter, "Not really, I'm 903."

Jethro looked mildly surprised and then said, "I'm 2,237."

The Doctor looked at him in shock and Jethro let out a small snigger.

When the Doctor found his voice, he asked, "Not quite human, then?"

Jethro's smile slid rapidly off his face and he turned to look at the sun again. "No, not quite human."

The Doctor looked Jethro in interest. The boy had been remarkably quiet during the tour. Yet, when he did speak, he always seemed to say the right thing. Not killing anyone, how the Doctor found the creature fascinating and most of all noticing when 'Sky' changed.

"I've met you before, you know?" Jethro remarked breaking the silence.

The Doctor raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, in my past and your future." Jethro amended, "You were with that red haired lady, gave me fright when you appeared out of nowhere in the blue box."

The Doctor looked at him, "What time was it?"

Jethro suddenly looked wistful, "Camelot's Golden Age."

The Doctor looked at Jethro, "No way!"

Jethro laughed, his eyes sparkling.

"You're... you're him!" The Doctor exclaimed.

"Yes, yes I am!" Jethro announced

The Doctor ran over to the TARDIS and wrenched the door open. He looked back to see 'Jethro' waving at him.

"Say hi to my past self for me!" He shouted after the Doctor.

"I will!" The Doctor shouted back.

And with that he leapt into TARDIS and ran to the control Panel and began pressing all manner of buttons.

"Where are we going?!" Cried Donna as the TARDIS lurched.

"Oh Donna!" The Doctor yelled, "We are going to one of the greatest places of all time!"

Donna put her hands on her hips. "And where's that?"

The Doctor and looked up at his companion with a huge dorky grin on his face, "We are going to the Home of Merlin!"

He pulled the lever.
