NOTE

This does not take place at Colors of the Wind nor is it related to it in any way (except it's Kirby). This is a different universe from that.

Plus, this takes place at the Kirakira Happy! Hirake! Cocotama universe. While it says Himitsu no Cocotama, it does not take place in that universe. Why is it there you ask? Because the former doesn't exist according to this site, so I decided to put it in the latter category. As soon as the former exists, I will move it there.

But then again, the only standalone fanfic there is written by a bot... I think.

Oh, this is all going to be first person. Isn't that cool?

Anyways, here's the chapter.

1st person (Zero)

Darkness.

That is all I can see right now, after being humiliated by a pink puffball named Kirby.

Actually... killed by Kirby.

I always wanted a world where nothing exists, where there is no smiles or cries, no mountains or seas, no stars or black holes, everything.

I wanted a world where nothing exists except for me and my Dark Matter.

Why would I like that world you ask? Because everyone denied me, so I will bring it back to nothing. To zero. After all, I am nothing.

But anyway, I decided to go for the planet, Popstar, which is the brightest planet in the Gamble galaxy from what I have heard, and indeed, they didn't lie.

However, what I did not know that it's a bad idea, because they have a hero of their own – a child named Kirby. Because I underestimated him.

Kirby collected the Heart Stars, freeing people from our control. Eventually, he collected them all and used it to free the king, which to be honest, is indeed self proclaimed. He saved him anyway because they are... "friends"

Eventually, he came to me with a weapon called the Love-Love stick, made by the Heart Stars that he collected along the way.

When they hit me, it hurts a lot, but I tried to endure it. It is not a good idea.

Eventually, I removed my eye from my own body, but... am eventually killed.

What matters, is that this world of nothingness is here in front of my single eye.

"W-where am I?" I hear a little girl's voice say. How did a girl came to my perfect world!?

I look down and see a tiny mangenta rabbit-like creature who is standing on two legs. She dosent have fingers or toes from what I have seen. She has... ponytails? On each side. She has some pink at a part of her face. She is wearing white pants with a wavy edge, and there is a mark with two heart-shaped berries on a twig. One of them is colored purple, and the other one is just an outline with the same purple. She is also wearing a red ribbon on her head which has a blue glass ball.

I stare at her dark pink eyes, and she stares back at my single eye with a blood-red colored sclera with confusion and fear in hers.

"W-Who are you?" The little creature asked.

"You may call me Zero. Now may I ask why you are here?" I introduced myself.

"...I don't know." She said. "When I slept, I'm suddenly here!" She added. "Now that I think of it... this is probably a dream."

"...What if I tell you that you are not dreaming?" I said.

"Wait... I'm not?" The rabbit said in confusion. "Does that mean your quest to Umm... 'bring everything to zero' is not a dream!?" She yelled in panic.

Wait, did she read my thoughts? Did I said it out loud?

"...I guess it's better that I pretend that I did not hear that." She then added after she calmed down.

"Anyways, I'm the god of the blossom ribbon of smiles, Ribbon!" The rabbit, Ribbon, introduces herself energeticly.

'Heh, very generic.' I thought. 'Wait, god?'

"You are a god? You do not look like one." I said with hints of shock in my tone.

"Yeah! Or I should say that I'm a god in training. After all, it's been half a year since I'm born from her ribbon." Ribbon explained.

"I would like to know your speci-" "and use that information to destroy our planet!?" I was about to say something, but it looks like the rabbit is smarter than I thought. It's kind of expected at this point, since she is a god.

"But you cannot stop me from trying to destroy the planet." I then said. "I will emerge to your world after a while, and nothing is going to stop me. You think you can beat me? Well, you are a god in training are you? It will be easy to coat that planet in darkness." I said, trying to put the god to despair. "After all, unlike you, I am a god that lived for who knows how long, and you lived for at least 6 months. I mastered my powers, and you did not."

"Speaking of powers," I then added. "I already knew your species the moment I saw you. You are a Cocotama, a god who is born from a cherished object. You hide from the smartest species on the planet Earth ('actually Shiver Star ripoff' I thought) in the Milky Way galaxy which are called humans ('Oh god that is a mouthful' I thought). But if you are spotted, you will return to that object where you are born from, which in your case, is a fragile little ribbon."

Ribbon looked at me in shock after hearing all of it.

"But... how?" Ribbon said with hints of despair in her tone.

"As I said, I knew all about you when I saw you." I answered.

"And... a better question, why?" She added.

This... I didn't expect her to say that.

"...You are smarter than I thought, but that bit is irrelevant." I said.

"Umm... thanks. Usually, I'm not that bright." Ribbon said, a sweat drop falling on her face.

"As I said, it's irrelevant." I repeated. Ribbon panicked, gulped the lump in her throat, and nodded.

"I am born a long time ago. I did not know exactly when, but I believe it is before the universe is born. When the Big Bang happened, I was curious to see what they have to offer. I looked around and see loads of amazing things. However..."

"However...?" Ribbon repeated.

"They denied me. All of them. Eventually, the curiously disappeared from me. I eventually learned why they did." I explained.

"And that is...?" Ribbon asked.

I look down in sadness. "I cannot make friends. I cannot be happy. I... just cannot be happy." I say as a red tear falls from my eye.

"So, it turned to jealousy, and eventually hatred. I wanted that world of nothingness back. A world which is what it used to be before the Big Bang happened." I said in sadness which eventually turned to anger.

"So... you did all of this because no one wanted to be your friend?" Ribbon asked with sadness on her tone.

I nodded.

Silence...

"Do you want to?" Ribbon asked. "If so..."

"...How about I could be your friend?" She added.

Wait, friend?

"But..." I say in worry.

"It's in the past Zero! You could just let it go, forget it, and live with us instead! Of course I won't tell anyone that you wanted to destroy literally everything." Ribbon said with a smile on her face. "If, of course, you can change form. Because, honestly, you look scary." She added.

"You... sure about that?" I asked, because I am still not sure if she wanted to be friends or not.

"Yeah! I'm sure! I'm really really sure!" Ribbon answered.

"...Thanks." I didn't expect myself to say that, but I did... and after that, I fell to unconsciousness.

I wonder if I will go to that Shiver Star ripoff.
